The Ghost

Over the last few months Joe says he hears thinks whilst everyone is asleep in the house, he is convinced there's a ghost in the apartment.

"babe go to sleep" you say hitting Joe's chest
"I can hear something" he says getting his vlog camera
"I'm sure it just the flo-" Joe cuts me off by putting his finger to my lips.

He gets up and opens the door
"I'm going to sit in the living room close the door" Joe says walking up the stairs
"don't die" you say closing the door, you get back into bed and wait for Joe.

A little while later he comes back in
"y/n" Joe says
"yeah" you say rubbing your eyes
"I heard so many noises most were down here you were in bed weren't you?" he asks pointing his camera at you
"yeah I closed the door and came straight back to bed" you say sitting up
"we officially have a ghost guys" Joe says then he turns his camera off
"listen to this" he says playing a video he just filmed, there was a lot of banging and crashes, foot steps up and down the stairs
"what was that?" you ask Joe pointing at the screen, you saw a shadow in the window
"what?" he panics, he replays the clip
"there!" you shout pointing, he goes back and pauses it
"fuck that" he says almost crying
"it's fine just cuddle into me and forget about it" you say laying back down, Joe lays back down and pull you extremely close
"Joe I need to breathe" you say moving away a little
"sorry I'm just freaked out now" he says with a stifled laugh
"I'm here nothing can hurt you" you say closing your eyes and drifting off to sleep as Joe plays with your hair
"go to sleep" you say resting your hand on his chest, he pulls you close even though he can't
"I love you" he says kissing your forehead, you just smile and fall asleep.
