I awoke from the bed in a state of shock. I looked around the room. There was another pie on the floor.

I forced myself up and went to look at it. Was the moment before just a dream? It must have been... I collapsed on the floor last time...

I picked up the pie just like before.

Took a slice just like before.

Bit into it just like before.

And, finally put it in my pocket just like b-

But there was already pie in there.

Uh oh.

My eyes widened.

"Don't eat anymore of that pie!"

I fell over onto the floor just like before.

"You really are an idiot..."

"I'm sorry! I thought it was a dream... Plus that pie tasted really good!"

This time, I woke up half calmly.

There was another pie on the floor.

"Nope!" I whispered, opening the door slowly.

I heard footsteps run down the hall as I turned the door nob. Sweat poured from my face as I continued to chase after it.

I saw a flight of stairs leading down into some sort of basement. I dashed down without any other thought.
