Chapter 17.

Chase POV

She isn't a virgin anymore. Is the first thing that runs through my mind when I wake up. I turn to look at the deadly assassin asleep beside me and frown. She lied about losing her virginity to me...

"Stop over thinking it." She mumbles with her eyes closed.

"Why did you lie?" I mumble. She opens her eyes and her cheeks flush.

"Uh... well I don't know... people expect me to have lost it." She sighs.

"Oh.... Okay." I reply. She sighs and sits up before swinging her leg out of the bed and gets up revealing her semi nude body in my oversized top.

"I'm going to have a shower." She mutters and walks into her bathroom. I sit in shock at the events of last night and can't help the smirk rise on my face as I remember.

Emily POV

I step out of my room at the warehouse and head down the steps.

"You sore?" Alicia asks me when she sees me. I shoot her a glare and walk over to the sofa popping down on it. "What did you do with Ivan?" She asks.

"Exchanged him for three days." I reply.

"Oh... was Patino there?" She blushes at his name.

"Yes but still wanting a single life." I remind her. She sighs,

"He is so dreamy. And that body. What I would do for a piece of that." She daydreams. I shake my head at her.

"And wouldn't hesitate to kill you." I reply.

"I know." She mutters. I role my eyes at her but I catch the sound of a car pulling up. Immediately I get up and grab some of the guns hanging from the wall. The door to the warehouse opens but no one is there.

"Everyone get down!" I scream as a grenade is chucked in. I drop behind the sofa muttering incoherent words.

"Ekaterina?" A voice sings. One I know so well. I feel my breath catch and Alicia looks at me before jumping up and aims her gun and shoots. I lie on the ground shocked at what she has done. I see her get hit and she collapses. I watch as blood slowly seeps out her wound.

"Shit. You are stupid!" I growl at her. I put pessary on the wound but the blood keeps running. I watch as the life slowly leaves her eyes and my anger fills me.

"You son of a bitch!" I scream as I get up and shoot at where I think he will be. However he has moved out of my sight and I panic.

"I thought you would've learnt better than to not let other people do your dirty work. I killed most of that... 'gang' of yours. Took extra pleasure in killing your friend... Cole. His death was slow and extremely painful." He taunts.

"No!" I shout and shoot where I hear his voice.

"You missed." He whispers in my ear. I feel the gun pressed against my back and don't move. "Take a look at your friends." He says spinning us so that I see everyone bloodied in the kitchen. Everyone except Chase and Eliana.

"Sister?" He asks spinning around and turning to face Eliana. She nods her head with the gun still pointed at him. I turn around and grab him in a headlock so that if I was to move my arm he would die. "How?" He croaks out staring at Eliana.

"Mum and dad gave her up for adoption." I reply. "Now tell me why." I hiss. He struggles to swallow but eventually does.

"I can't. He will kill us all." He says. I raise an eyebrow.

"Tell me or I'll show the 'proof' to Patino." I tell him. He freezes.

"Fine. I'll explain. But hear me out." He says. He takes a breath. "A few months back our agency got an anonymous call saying if we didn't kill you then they would release our data to the world. We had no other choice. We couldn't just get everyone to kill you though because many people supported you way of escape. So we set up the trap in hope of getting everyone after you. I didn't want to do it. I had no choice though. Either way they said I must be the one to kill you. Whether by force or willingly. Ethan did kill the agent's that we knew would've never fell for the trap. I then came to spy on you to see if there was any complications which there was. We never knew Ivan would be involved in this equation but he was and so we gave you extra time." He tells us. I let go of his neck.

"You don't deserve to live. However you tried to kill your own family. It is your fault mom and dad are dead and you tried to kill me. Live with that and never face me again." I tell him. He gives me a pained expression before looking to Eliana but he face remains stony. He sighs and slowly walks towards the door. The fire from the grenade already out only leaving smoke.

"I'm sorry. For everything." He tells us. "I'm you want me out your life I understand. But remember. US against the world together." He says emphasising on us. I feel a pang in my heart but ignore it.

"Theo. Dave. Neither are my brothers. Terin is and Terin will always be my brother. My twin." I tell him. "I need one more thing before you go." I tell him. He stops.

"And what is that?" He asks.

"A name. The name of the person who called. You must know it." I tell him. He sighs,

"I know it." He tells me. Everything that has happened has led up to this moment and I can't believe what I hear next. I don't want to believe it. A person who I thought a friend. A person who u believed was too kind hearted. Too good. He knew me from the gang and then a day to day basis. I want to scream I want to shout and deny the next four words that come out my brothers mouth. "His name is Dale."
