Napstablook x Reader (Undertale Fanfic)

Chapter 2 | Space

Right in front of you stands a tall white building, that you think looks a bit like an upside-down sock. You guess this is Napstablook's house, as it kind of looks like a ghost itself. Next to it is a house which is almost identical, except for its brown colour and how its flipped horizontally from the white house. 

You decide to go up to the brown house and knock just in case it IS the ghost's house. But nobody answers and so you go to the house on the left and knock.

"Hi?"

It was Napstablook.

"Hey," you reply, "It's me, Y/N."

"You can come in."

You walk into his house. The wooden floor is a nice light brown, almost-orange colour. The walls are a darker brown. You can tell this house is old because the walls are covered in cracks and there are cobwebs here and there. This creeps you out a bit, but you continue to stay in the room. 

You notice a big cobweb in the corner of the room with a flyer on it. You can read it from where you are. It says 'Spider Bake Sale'. You recognize this name, but do not know where it comes from.

"So um..." Napstablook turns to you. "I guess you can... look around?"

You look at his computer. There's a tab open of some music website.

"I might go continue a remix I'm making so... tell me if you need anything?"

You nod and walk over to his TV. Your ghost friend has his headphones on and so you turn the television on, knowing that if you play it quietly, he shouldn't be able to hear it. 

When you press the power button, the screen powers on. It's Mettaton's show. You turn it off instantly. 'Not watching that show any day soon...'

You decide to open the fridge. Napstablook notices and walks over to you.

"Do you want a snack? I'll get you one..."

You try to grab the ghost burger he is holding but your hand goes straight through it.

"Oh... I forgot humans can't touch ghost stuff..."

You shrug. "It's fine, I'll get something from Grillby's later."

Napstablook puts the food back in the fridge and shuts the door. "After a good snack, I like to lie on the floor... wanna join me?"

"Alright."

You follow him to the middle of the room and lie down on the cold floor next to him. You stare at the ceiling, not really knowing what the purpose of this is. Suddenly. it gets... interesting. You're now surrounded by stars as if you're in space. The silence gets more intense. You then stand up, unaware of what the hell you just did.
