Chapter 19

HUNTER'S POV  

"Good Night, Hunter" Mom and Dad said together.

"Good Night... And I am sorry, for saying that I hate you.." I mumbled drifting off into sleep.

NEXT DAY 

I woke up and my arm were very sore. I looked at them and saw bandages. Everything came rushing back to me. I got out of bed and headed to my parents room, who were both still asleep. I took a quick shower and changed and put on a Jacket to go for a walk.

'Holy crap, it's gonna rain, NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!' I thought.

I like rain but not the first thing in the morning. I continued to walk to the park where I saw this guy sitting on the bench. I stared at him for a bit trying to figure out if I knew him. He seemed familiar. He looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back. 

'God Damnit, he's cute...' I thought.

'Whoa there, Hunter since when did you think any guy was cute?' A voice in the back of my head said.

'Well, since.... uh, just now?' I said in my head.

I was too busy having an arguement with myself that I didn't notice he walked up to me.

"Hey..." The boy mumbled, "I'm Alex, I've seen you here around before."

'Alright, get it together!' The voice whispered.

"Hi.. My name is Hunter, nice too meet you," I said calmly.

"Uh.. Don't you sit in the back of the..class?" Alex asked.

I nodded slightly. He smiled warmly.

"I don't know if you ever notice me, but I sit right next to you..."

I shook my head and mumbled,"Sorry, but I have seen you around... But unlike you, right now, no one speaks to me..." 

"Well, guess we're the same... Would you like to watch a movie with me this afternoon... at..um... 6?..." Alex said hopefully.

"Sure!" I  said smiling, "I'll meet you there."

Alex smiled and I gave him my number and he gave me his. We parted ways and I ran home smiling in the rain. I ran into my house and my mom looked at me very confused. 

"Hunter? Are you alright?" She asked a bit freaked out. 

"Yeah, perfectly normal!" I said laughing.

"Are you sure?" Dad asked walking down the stairs.

"Mhmm..." 

Ima handed me my breakfast and decided to break the short silence, while Abba decided to shove pancakes down his throat. Along with bacon and orange juice.

"So..." Dad said talking with his mouth full, "Why are you so happy?"

"Tony, stop talking with your mouth full, it is disgusting!" Ima said lightly slapping him on the arm.

"Alrighty then, I'll tell you, I have.. uh.. um.. crush on someone..." I said looking down feeling my face getting hot.

When I looked up at my dad stopped eating and had a serious look on his face. I started wondering  if he is going to pull that over-protective shit on me. Like come on! I can take care of myself. It's not like I'm getting married!

"What's this boys' name?" Abba asked.

"Alex Skye ..." I said, "And you do not need to get all over protective, Abba. I can take care of myself."

"If you're going anywhere with him today even if it's as friends, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO ANYTHING STUPID!" Abba said sternly.

Ima watched Abba funny. 

"This coming from the man who used to be a PlayBoy." Ima said laughing.

We all burst out laughing except Abba who pouted.
