Meeting The Parents!: Brick

You were currently on the phone with your mom. You haven't seen her in a long time so she decided to visit you tonight. When you told her that you will introduce your boyfriend to her & your dad, you can hear her yell for your father in the other line. You heard two voices say "WHAT?!" in the background. Probably your big brother.

Your mother said goodbye to you after awhile of getting excited to meet your new boyfriend. You hung up the phone & went downstairs where Brick was watching the video of you singing last night. You wrapped your arms around his neck from behind & kissed his cheek.

Brick turned his head & gave you a smile.

Brick: Hey baby. What 'sup?

You: Oh nothing. Just wanted to be close to my boyfriend.

He chuckled & turned back to the video.

You cleared your throat which caught his attention back.

You: Um...Brick?

Brick: Yeah?

You: My...parents are coming over & uh...they want to me you tonight.

Brick: What?! Tonight?

You: Y-Yeah. You better get yourself ready while I make dinner, OK?

He nodded & you gave him one last kiss on the cheek before you went to the kitchen.

You set the plates & you were finally finished. You went upstairs to the bathroom where you fixed yourself & got dressed. After a moment, you came out of the bathroom wearing a white tank top with a (f/c) sweater on top. Your jeans had a faded color of blue. Your hair was tied in a high ponytail. You went to your room where Brick was putting his red hoodie. His hat on the top of the bed.

You giggled & skipped over to him where you grabbed his hat & put it on top of your head. He smiled & pulled you close to him.

Brick: I'm kinda nervous...

You: Don't be.

You moved his bangs out of his eyes & kissed his nose. You smiled up at him & went downstairs.

The doorbell rang & you'd mother, father & big bro all bursted in. Your mom ran up to you & hugged you tightly.

(Mom): I missed my little princess! You're all grown up!

You: H-Hey mom. Hi dad.

Your mother stepped aside when your brother walked up to you & ruffled your hair.

(Brother): Hey little dudette! Haven't seen you since I moved in Canada!

You: Hi (brother).

(Dad): So, Y/N, where is this boyfriend of yours? Is he here?

You nodded & told them to wait at the living room. You went back to your room where Brick was sitting on your bed, playing on his phone.

You: Oh Bricky~! They're here.

Brick turned his phone off, sighed but smiled for you.

Brick: Alright.

You grabbed his hand & led him downstairs. When he saw your parents & your brother, he gripped your hand tighter. Who knew someone so tough & stubborn can be like this?

You: Guys, here he is.

They all looked up & they looked shocked for a moment before your mom stood up & gave Bricks tight hug.

(Mom): So you're my daughter's boyfriend?! He's cute Y/N!

You: Uh...thanks?

(Brother): Woah. I thought you were dating Alfred.

You: Dude. Alfred & I are just friends. Period.

While this was happening, Brick was a tad bit confused about the situation. Finally, your father stood up & walked up to Brick. Your mom let go of him & smiled. She stood beside you with her hands on your shoulders while your dad introduced himself, your mother & your brother.

Brick: It's nice to meet you sir.

(Dad): Well, shall we continue this at dinner?

Brick nodded & your family went to the dining room while Brick sighed.

You: Sorry about my mom's tight hugs. She tends to do that a lot.

Brick: It's no problem. At least I know that she doesn't hate me.

You giggled & led him to the dining room. You both sat next to each other & your father stared to ask questions.

(Dad): Alright sport, just one more question. What made you like our little princess?

Brick: Well sir, Y/N is beautiful, kind & the only girl that made me feel happy ever single day. She was there for me when I needed her & I knew that she was the one.

You tried not giggle because you knew that Brick was saying all these cheesy things but in his head, he's really pissed off that he said something so cheesy but what can he do? He loves you so he'll do anything. Your dad smiled & stood up. He reached a hand out for Brick to shake. Brick stood up & did just that.

(Dad): Welcome to the family, my boy.

Brick nodded & gave your dad a smile. Your brother grabbed a fork & stood up. He pointed the fork at Bricks eyes & said:

(Brother): Hurt my little dudette, you're going down. You hear that, punk?

Brick nodded & (brother) gave him a smile.

Your family went home & you were done cleaning the table.

You turned to Brick who was laying down on the couch while watching Netflix. You went up to him & laid down on top of him.

Brick: I am NOT going to say something like that ever again.

You: You say that but you do it anyways.

Brick: ...I only do it becuase i love you.

You smiled & snuggled up to him.
