Sasori was walking through the hallway calmly. Sasori stopped walking. 'Why do I have a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach?' He saw dirt fall to the ground then everything started to shake. 'An earthquake?' Sasori didn't know what was happening.

The lights were flickering and a light bulb or two fell to the ground. Breaking on impact. It only lasted for a couple of seconds but it felt longer. Sasori had managed to catch his balance and looked around. Not a second later did he feel the earth underneath him tremble again.

At this point Itachi had came out of the medical room and was now looking at Sasori. "What is going on?" Sasori was trying to come to conclusion himself. From all his experience as a shinobi he already knew that there was a big fight happening but who against who was still an unanswered question to him.

Sasori knew from look in Itachi's eye he knew just as much as he did. Sasori started thinking and soon realization came crashing down on him. "We have to go now." Itachi gave him a look that told Sasori he'll comply but there will be an explanation later.

Sasori only nodded. The ground shook again. Only each tremble grew stronger as the time between each one grew shorter. Sasori's face showed nothing. Him and Itachi nodded and both body flickered away.

The closer they got to Konoha the less they managed to catch their balance. The blows where strong and seemed to be endless. At one point Sasori had to stab a kunai deep into a tree while having chakra gather to his feet to keep himself steady.

Itachi wasn't so lucky as the red head puppeteer. Another 'earthquake' started as he landed but it was twice as violent than the last. The tree shook along with the earth and it made his foot slip. Sasori seen the slip and had been quick enough to attach chakra strings to Itachi. Preventing him from crashing into the solid ground.

Itachi still had a stoic look on his face through all this. On the outside kept his composer but inside he released a big sigh and was grateful towards Sasori. The both of them waited the second wave out before continuing their way towards Konoha.

Not long after did they see trees scattered on the floor. Huge chunks of rocks were missing from the earth. Looking into the chaos further the rocks seemed to have been thrown or smaller pieces were found everywhere.

Trees were on fire or singed while others had holes that ranged from small to fitting a person threw the hole. Some places where drenched with water. Shuriken and kunai were found on the ground, trees, and on other shinobi.

'How did I not notice earlier?' Sasori scowled at the fact that he didn't notice the many wounded shinobi. Half of the shinobi there were fatally wounded while the other half weren't breathing at all. Some appeared to have had a sharp object through the heart.

Others had small cuts here and there but didn't seem to have anything done that would have caused any fatal blows. Only some had broken ribs but nothing was found on the others. "Tsk." Sasori was puzzled on what could've caused them any sort of death. The small cuts weren't enough.

Itachi observed the scene displayed in front of him as well. The scene peaked his interest and observed as much as he could with his vision. 'Now what happened? No. What caused this?' Itachi wondered and explored his options.

Another tremble came and both did their best to keep balance. 'She's still fighting?! Knowing the brat she's probably fighting alone.' The puppeteer had an odd feeling and it unsettled him. It was the same as earlier but stronger.

This time he didn't even bother to say a thing. He immediately took off after it passed. 'Damn brat' he growled. A second later a loud scream was heard. Both Akatsuki members just kept running forward. It didn't take long to find out who had screamed.
