The weekend had past rather quickly as Hinata rested from being dragged into being beaten up by some terrifying 3rd years.  As he walked around school during Monday break, he saw no sign of Hiyori, which relieved him.  Hinata truly was happy that she had disappeared from Kageyama's sight from now on.  But as one problem left, another one soon followed.  But this new problem was different.
This problem wasn't just at certain times.
It was during practice.  During class.  When he was walking home.  Throughout the whole  day.
And Hinata didn't know what to do about it.  His heart ached when he was on his own, but then when he was with him  everything was fine.  Well, apart from the obvious feeling of embarrassment and the feeling that he was going to mess everything up.  But Hinata didn't understand.  Wasn't...wasn't Kageyama just a friend?
But Hinata knew full well the answer, and now, it was more evident than ever.
                            *   *    *                                                                                                                                                         Tuesday morning practice had just started and Daichi had sent both Kageyama and Hinata to the equipment room to gather the nets and volleyballs.  As they both walked together to the other side of  the gymnasium, Hinata caught himself thinking about whether or not Kageyama would ever like him back.
"Hey, What's up?" Kageyama inquired as he continued to gather the nets in his arms.  Hinata was taken by surprise by the sudden question and took a second to come to his senses.
"Me? I'm totally fine! Yeah!" Hinata spoke over joyous and he knew he just made it obvious he was trying to cover something up.  Kageyama just looked at Hinata from the corner of his eye and squinted as if to tell Hinata that he knew he was lying.  Kageyama didn't reply, and finished collecting his half of the equipment.  In a flustered hurry, Hinata quickly grabbed an overly big handful of volleyballs and ran out of the door, his head bent towards the floor.  Being his clumsy self, he straight away ran into the back of Kageyama, as the volleyballs scattered onto the floor, rolling in all four directions.
"Waah! Oh my God, I'm so sorry Kageyama!" Hinata, still flustered from what had previously been said in the equipment room, continued to look down, as he attempted to collect the volleyballs that lay at his feet.  However, as Kageyama turned around, he knew he'd have to look up to defend himself from whatever Kageyama was going to shoot at him.
"What the hell are you doing you dumba-"
Kageyama looked down at the little orange haired kid whose face froze in the eye contact.  Hinata was quietly blushing as he stared awkwardly back at Kageyama.  Kageyama had stopped half way through his sentence at the sight of Hinata, and now he could feel his own face turning a pale red colour.
Stop looking at him damn it
But Kageyama couldn't unlock the glare that they both seemed to get a hold of.  Hinata was taken aback by Kageyama reflecting his feelings.
Why is he blushing?Does he...?
Nishinoya soon jumped between them excitedly and helped in collecting the volleyballs.

"C'mon Hinata! What're you doing? We have practice to get on with!~" Hinata apologised once more and ran over to the balls which had escaped.  Kageyama had already walked away from the scene to help put the nets up with Sugawara.

Hinata continued the practice thinking about what had happened at the start.  Did Kageyama like him back? Hinata thought not.  But then, what was the blushing about? Kageyama had acted nearly the same as Hinata when they had caught each others eyes.  But Hinata wanted to know.  However, the rest of the practice ended without Kageyama remotely looking in Hinata's eyes.  He wasn't angry, or in one of his moods (Which was normally the case), he just didn't look at Hinata in the eyes. At all.   Which made Hinata want to know even more what Kageyama thought of him.
After practice had ended, everyone went to get changed and 1st period had started.  Hinata sat in his seat in math class as his mind wandered over numerous things.  For one, he thought about the time when Kageyama had said he liked someone, and that they were important.  Hinata's mind quickly linked that to this mornings practice, when Kageyama had not looked Hinata in the face after their confrontation.  Not to mention the actual confrontation itself, where both of them were clearly blushing.  Thinking of this made Hinata blush from the inside.  His heart felt warm as he wondered whether or not that special person was in fact him.  But, Hinata briskly pushed that thought aside because he thought that that could not be the case.  Or could it?
Meanwhile, Kageyama was silently freaking out in his seat in history class about what had happened in practice, and times before.  He was almost one hundred percent sure that Hinata liked him, but that 'almost' was the only thing that kept him from asking him.  That, and Kageyama was trying to find a way to get Hinata to know without him being too forward about it.  But that idea wasn't going too well for him.
                                     *   *   *                                                                                                                                               "Kageyama," Hinata's sudden start of conversation made Kageyama switch back to the real world, as he was deep in thought, as they walked home together after school.  Kageyama looked down at Hinata's face which was lit up by the small amount of low sunlight that struggled to shine through the dark, thick clouds.  Kageyama couldn't tell how Hinata was feeling, and didn't know what he was going to say, so he readied for the worst.
"I was wondering," Kageyama's heart froze in the last hope that what he thought he was going to say was not the case. It wasn't that Kageyama didn't  want to answer, it was that he couldn't.

They had come to a stand still due to the fact that they had arrived at the area in which they departed to go their separate ways.  As they stood there, Kageyama could see Hinata shivering, or shaking.  But he didn't know which.  Hinata gazed up at Kageyama through the slightly misty air, his complexion serious, but content.

"The person you like... is it me?"
