You were the smallest in your third year class and was always teased about it. You kept on telling them that you may be small but you have a fiery spirit to move forward. Asahi was amazed with your determination. Even though you were picked upon, you decided to stand up again and play.

"Asahi-kun, are you part of a sports group?" Surprisingly, you would always talk to him. There are some who feared him because of his looks but when you tried to talk to him, he's very shy and all.

"Umm.." He suddenly remembered his time in volleyball. You can see that he's having difficulty on saying a thing. You told him that he doesn't have to say anything if he's not yet ready. He smiled at you and nodded. It was unusual to see him do so genuinely but you were glad to know that he's opening up to you.

Every recess and lunch, you two would go outside beside the tree and eat food. You would even joke with each other. There were times wherein during your period you lashed out at him and been a very scary person. It scared to his wits. When you realized what you did, you profusely apologized.

"I'm sorry Asahi!"
"Ahaha...it's alright. No need to worry about it."

But during those days, you noticed him always looking at the gym. It made you smile sadly. You thought that maybe there's something that happened there. You were looking at him and when he noticed your stare, he smiled sheepishly and joined you. You laughed this lightly.

"Is there something you're not telling me Asahi? About the gym I mean."
"There's nothing really."
"You sure?"
"Yeah."
"Remember Asahi. No matter how much you try to deny a thing, the more you wish to be part of it." You left him hanging there. He looked at you in amazement.

•The Next Day•

It was all the same. During lunch, he would always look at the gym. You're pretty sure now that he was once part of something that happened at the gym but what could it be?

While walking towards the teachers' nook, you heard shoutings and one of the voice is very familiar to you. It was Asahi's. You rounded up the corner and there, you saw him talking to someone, rather shouting. The boy he was talking to looked like a second year with black hair and bleached blonde front hair. The Dean tried to stop them but got scare because of the vase the got broken. You looked at them with sad eyes. You heard things about volleyball and that the boy is claiming that it wasn't Asahi's fault but his.

'What the hell just happened between them.'

Asahi left the scene while the boy remained. You look at his ID and his name is Nishinoya Yuu. You walked to him and talked.

"Nishinoya right? I don't know what happened between you two but I assure you, whatever it is, let him decide for a bit. He's confused. If you're one from the gym then I assure you that he'll make a good decision. If ever, just wait for him."
"I want him to know that it's not his fault."
"What is it particularly? Not to bug in you know."
"Volleyball."

You nod and smile at him. You assured him with very smile you can give him and decided to find Asahi. He was there at your usual place.

"Asahi."
"(First name)?"
"If there's anything that fogs your mind, you should try to clear it out by doing what you love the most."
"What I love the most?"
"Hmm. Let's say for me, I love music that's why whenever I'm sad, I always listen to my favorite ones. I'm sure, you love volleyball."
"Did he tell you?"
"No. I only ask what sport. Whatever what happened in the past, you can't turn it back but you know what, you can redo them and do the best you can. There's no one who'll blame you because they can see that you did your best. So stand up again."
"I need time."
"I know. I assured him that you'll need time. Nishinoya Yuu." You left him there and went back to class. You were still thinking about it and after class, you saw him by the gym. You smiled and went home alone.

•After two days•

You could see that he's really thinking about things so you let him be. Asahi, on the other hand, though about all the things that you said and he's meeting with Hinata Shoyo. He tried to sorted his thoughts and came to a conclusion that he really want to play with everyone again and be their ace though that thought still made him cringed.

After class, he went to the gym and declared his will to join Karasuno's volleyball team again. They all rejoiced but when Nishinoya called him ace, Asahi flinch and backed away. Before Nishinoya could even pull him inside, Asahi insisted that he has to meet up with someone first. He went to search for you and there you stood outside playing our harmonica.

"(First name)."
"Asahi. Have you settled things with them?"
"Yeah and... Thank you. I know I'm pretty timid and coward and—"
"Asahi is not coward, you're just confused and needed time to despair but you did the right choice."

You were about to walk away and be on your way but he held and hugged you. You suddenly blushed at the contact but soon melted into his touch.

"Thank you and...if you let me...p-please g-go out with m-me..."
"Asahi..." You face him and kiss his lips lightly. It was enough to make him blush madly though and you giggled at that.

"I speak like prophet now but yeah."
"YES!!!"
