Team 7's Owl

Team 7 Formed!.

Naruto tapped the desktop with his fingers while waiting for either Iruka-sensei to come in and announce their Teams. That,or,for Eriko to come in from the Library.

(I regret showing her the way to the Library) Naruto thought, bitterly.(She's been in there for a whole hour).

(There's no need to be jealous, Kit) Kurama's voice rumbled in his head. (It's unbecoming of you).

(I'm not jealous!) snapped Naruto.

(Sure you aren't) Kurama laughed and Naruto could see the kitsune smirking.

The sound of frantic footsteps coming towards the classroom made it to Naruto's ears.
He turned around in his seat.
Those footsteps aren't Eriko's besides, Naruto turned back around, uninterested now. She would have used the window to come in.

The back door to the classroom slammed open and two voices yelled,

"I'm first! "

It was Ino Yamanaka and Sakura Haruno.

"I beat you again, Ino" Sakura panted with her shoulders moving up and down while trying to catch her breath.

"Dream on, Forehead" Ino replied, smugly. "My toe was way ahead of yours ".

"No it wasn't! ".

"Yes it was! ".

"No it wasn't! "

"Yes it was! ".

Naruto shook his head as the two bickered back and forth.(I still wonder to this day why I had liked her before. It's obvious that she can't do anything useful).

(Kit, someone is spying on you) Kurama's eyes flashed in anger.

(Where?) Naruto moved his eyes to the left then to the right trying to find the unseen, unknown, watchers.

(There in the corner. Right hand side in the back of the room.) Eriko's voice sounded in his head.

(You've finally gotten out of the Library.) Naruto let a smile cross over his face as he changed from looking for the watchers to looking for her.

(I'm up here. Look up.) Eriko giggled and watched as Naruto raised his head.

Naruto's eyes widened to double the size and his mouth formed a 'O'.

(How did you get on the ceiling?!) Naruto asked.

(I came through the window and climbed up the side of the wall) Eriko answered before she narrowed her eyes at the corner of the room.

"Naruto did you hear me?! " A shrill voice yelled in Naruto's ear.

"Huh? " Naruto looked at Sakura,who had her hands on her hips.

"I said move your ass!" Sakura glared at him while pointing to the opposite side of him. "I want to sit there! ".

Naruto glanced to the side and saw that Sasuke was sitting there, looking bored.

Sasuke looked at him.

"Hm? ".

Naruto turned back to Sakura.

"I'm terriblely sorry, but someone is sitting there"said Naruto.

"Who?! "Sakura demanded, growing angry.

"Stop being so loud" Naruto rubbed his ear that she had yelled in."Or I'll make sure you never do it again ".

He gave her a creepy, foxy, grin that made her take a step back.
Eriko took that moment to fall from the ceiling and land behind Sakura.

"If I were you, Sakura"She whispered, making the pinkette freeze in place. " I'd move away from me before you end up on the receiving end of my Jutsu ".

" Gah!!" Sakura screamed before she scrambled away from Eriko while nearly tripping over her feet. She ran down the stairs and sat next to Ino in the front row,away from Naruto and Eriko who sat in the back row.

"Did you see how fast she ran?" Naruto broke out laughing while holding his stomach.

"Can I get in there? " Eriko asked, pointing to the empty space behind the blonde.

"Yeah, sure" Naruto stepped to the side. "I was saving it for you anyway".

"Thanks" Eriko nodded then slid into the space her body wasn't big enough to fill the entire space so she took up the minimum amount of space.

"I'm still not sure about your weight " said Naruto, changing the conversation. He slid in beside Eriko and noticed that she looked smaller in the bench than when she was standing up. Her back was pressed against the back of the bench while her knees were hanging off of the end of the bench.

"I was always small" said Eriko, shrugging her shoulders. She leaned up and placed her arms on the top of the desk.

"Alright! Alright! Settle down!" Iruka had come in at last and the students that had been talking quieted down."Today you all become Genin and will be set in groups of three with a Jonin instructor,but-"

Iruka glanced down at the clipboard that he had been holding. "-because of the odd number of students one squad will have four".

The class was quiet and anxious to know which team they would be placed on.

" Team 7 is Naruto Uzumaki,Eriko Naitowingu-"

Naruto and Eriko fist bumped in happiness.

"- Sasuke Uchiha-"

Eriko looked at Naruto in concern and he gave her a small smile then shrugged his shoulders.

"-And Sakura Haruno".

Eriko and Naruto groaned,lowly while,if you looked very close,you would see that Sasuke had twitched.

Eriko layed her head on the desktop and zoned out the rest of the conversation.

It wasn't important to her anyway.
