Discoveries (Chap. 16)

(Vanoss' POV)

It's a good thing the GPS showed me a short cut to where Lui and the rest are staying or else it would've taken me forever to arrive.

I park my car at a far range than I spot a group of men parked in front of a apartment and they seem to be yelling at someone behind the door.

I take out a sniper and I use the scope to catch a better view. I spot the same exact symbol that Violet had way back when we were first fighting Med-X. I quickly put away the sniper and pull out a suppressed pistol.

I slowly approach them as I put on my Owl mask to hide my identity. Once I was close enough, I was able to hear what they were yelling.

"Were giving you one last chance to open the door or else."

Silence grew and I already new that the guys were in that apartment. Than I hear footsteps, they were going towards the door.

"1. . ."

I crouched towards the back of their car and aimed for the guy in the middle.

"2. . ."

I squinted my eyes to get a better view and waited until he said three.

"3!"

Just as he said it, I shoot him straight in the head and I shot up from my position.

"Lui! Guys! It's me! Vanoss!" I yell out hoping they heard me and the rest of the Med-X crew look back at me and they start shooting. I duck down behind the car and I would shoot from the sides.

I hear more gun shots coming from in front of the car, as I shot up, I rest my shoulders to find the guys all standing there. I grin as I walk up to them.

"Well, that's one way to crash a party." I say, earning a laugh from the guys and they all 'Bro' hugged me.

[10 minutes later.]

I helped the guys with the boxes of stuff they were able to keep while we were being attacked. As the last boxes were set inside the carrier of my car, I closed it and smiled at the guys.

"Alright, how are we gonna do this?" I ask and Lui just runs towards the passenger seat, locking it so nobody was able to pull him out.

I watch as the guys tried to figure out who is gonna sit in the car and who is gonna sit on someone's lap.

"I say I should be the one who sits in the car because you guys wouldn't want my piggy buns on your lap." Tyler says and the rest agreed to his say and he just cracked a smile and gracefully sat in the car.

"How about the skinniest guys sit on the laps of the more. . .'thicker' guys." Marcel protests and they all nod, which meant Nogla, and Marcel are sitting in the, car leaving Brock and Mini to sit on someone's lap.

"Alright Mini, who are you gonna sit on?" Brock says and Mini scoffs at his question.

Mini than decides to sit on Tyler's lap. . .Tyler didn't mind though. (Who else ships them? C;)

Brock then decided to sit on Marcel's lap, and I peacefully sat on the drivers seat.

"Now, hold on tight guys, its gonna be one heck of a ride." I say making Lui and Nogla laugh.

"Just shut up and hurry Evan!" Marcel yells, making us laugh even more.

(Violet's POV)

I helped Andrea up the stairs, with Jennifer on one side and me on the other. They chose the first room to the right because Andrea doesn't want to be walking down a long hallway than down the stairs.

As I laid her on the bed, I watch them as they fall into deep sleep. As I was at the doorway, Andrea stops me from a low whisper.

"Love you Vi." Is all I heard before I shut the door. As I close the door, I set my head on the wooden door, and started thinking. Now that nobody was around, I can think in peace. I thought about everything that has happened so far. . .

Med-X attacking us. . .

Evan becoming my new boyfriend. . .

Andrea getting shot. . .

First meeting the guys. . .

Than the most toughest thing to think about.

My mom.

I slowly slid down to the creeky, wooden floor and sat there thinking everything through.

Than, it all went dark.

All I can see was pure black, was this happening again? I shut my eyes tightly, hoping the light would appear again and to my surprise, it did.

It wasn't the light I was expecting though, it was bright like if I was in a laboratory. I lifted my hand forward but it hit something. It felt like glass...where was I? I look around and than it hit me.

The time when I escaped to save my mother. I look in front and I see them pulling her. I start pounding on the glass but I think it was unbreakable.

"No...No!" I yell, I wanted to look away but I couldn't. I couldn't break out to save her, I couldn't stop them from hurting her. . .

"I AM SORRY I COULDN'T STOP THEM FROM KILLING YOU!!" I yell out and I close my eyes again and reopen them to find myself still sitting on the other side of Andrea and Jennifer's room.

My breathing was out of control and I checked the time. It was 1:30. I sigh as I stand up and rub my eyes. I lazily walk down the stairs to find Delirious sleeping on the couch in such a weird position. I chuckle at how hilarious he looked and just continued walking towards the front door.

I needed fresh air, so I decided to go out for a bit and just let myself go free. I walk towards the back of the small wearhouse and climb up a ladder to the top of the roof. I reach the edge of the roof and I let the air flow through my face. This feels so nice.

I open my eyes and I look at my hands which seem to be glowing violet. Than I started to feel like a need to jump off the roof.

What was this feeling?

I look down at the height I was on and it was pretty high. The adrenaline was making me want to jump off...but without any hesitation.

I did.

I jumped off feeling the air hit me while I was falling and as I was getting close to the ground, I was preparing for impact.

I landed on my two feet without feeling anything hurt. I look up at the building than back down at my hands. I clench them as I started to run to the wearhouse and started to do some parkour up the building to the edge.

And again I jumped off and landed on my two feet. As I was standing up straight, I hear someone behind me.

"Woah."

I look behind me to find Delirious with wide eyes staring at me, I look down as the violet aura disappears.

"That was awesome." He says.

I look up at him and smile. I needed the feelings to get out of me and for some reason jumping off the building solved it.

Don't jump off buildings, they don't actually solve anything, unless you have powers.
