"Why do you have to move to New York?" Kian asked. A tear slipped from his eye.

"Come with me. I can't go alone,"  you say.

"If only," he sighs.

"Kian, I can't leave. I love you too much," you say. You start crying.

"Let's just make these last few hours worth it," he smiles. You look at your feet.

"What do you have in mind?" you ask.

"I don't know. You're the one that's leaving. What do you want to do?" he asks.

"I want to spend time with you," you say.

"Then lets spend time together. Come on. Lets get coffee and then go to the beach," he grabs your hand and you leave your empty house. Everything is in boxes.

You walk to Kian's car and get in before Kian leans in and kisses you.

"Do you really want to get coffee?" you ask.

"No," he says and kisses you again. You guys get out of  the car and go back inside. Your parents were already in New York and your flight was tomorrow.

He kiss you lightly and pushed you against a wall.  His hips pushed against yours and you straddled him. He wrapped his arms around your waist and you played with his hair.

ALRIGHT IM SURE Y'ALL KNOW WHERE THIS IS GOING SO SKIPPPPPPING FORWARD. Y'ALL CAN IMAGINE THAT FOR YOURSELF.

You wake up on the floor and see Kian next to you. Somehow you guys found a blanket in all of the boxes. Kian was shirtless and you had on a bra.

"Oh my god," you say. He jolted awake.

"Why oh my god?" he asks. He observes his surroundings. "Oh my god."

"Kian, I really can't leave now," you say.

"Hey. Don't worry about me. Think of last night as a going away present." He wraps you in a hug.

"But I don't want this to be it. I want this to be the beginning. When couples take this step it's usually because they want to seal the deal, not break it off and move across the country from each other," you cry.

"Well, I guess we're the exception. (Y/N) I love you, and if last night doesn't leave that impression, then maybe you moving is for the best," he says.

"It leaves that impression. It's just overwhelming. I can't believe that in two hours I have to leave for New York, only a couple hours after one of the biggest steps in our relationship," you say.

"Hey, we got to take that step though. Think about it that way, if we had gone and gotten coffee and gone to the beach, would we even be having this conversation?" he asks.

"I love you so much," you say, hugging Kian tightly.

"Alright, well I'm going to get dressed and so should you. You have a flight to catch." You could tell he was forcing the happiness.

"I love you," you say to Kian.

"I love you too (y/n)," he whispers. A tear falls from his eye.

"Last night will never be forgotten," you say.

"Call me when you land," he says before squeezing your hand and letting you walk onto the plane.

"Hey, Mom," you say, walking into your house.

"Honey I have some good news and some horrible news," she says.

"Okay..." you say.

"We are moving back to California, but we are moving back because your grandmother isn't doing well, the doctors give her a couple weeks," she says.

"Okay," you nod and go upstairs before packing your things. You get out your phone and dial Kian's number.

"Hello?" he asks.

"I'm moving back!" you scream into the phone.

"Oh my god that's great! I can't wait to see you," he screams back.

"KIAN!" you run into his arms and hug him for at least a minute.

"I missed you so much," he whispered.

"I missed you too," you whisper back.
