17. I Will Go Down With This Ship

Sollux's POV

I bit my lip, worried about my best friend strapped down next to me. She looked awful, the left side of her face was off, like the skin was...when I first saw her, I almost vomited.

I was praying that she would get better, if she didnt...I don't know what I'd do, perhaps kill Dave first.

They got her out and rushed her in. They ran her into the emergency room, and up to the surgery room. They shut me out, and closed the curtains.

I paled, "Thii2 ii2n't faiir..." I sobbed, walking back to the waiting room.

I bumped into someone, "2orry" I said.

She smiled, "it's 0k, c0me here..." I looked up to see Aradia and I sniffed, hugging her.

She shhed me, "I knew you w0uld c0me back here"

"How?"

"It was 0n the news..." She comforted him. The child, known as me, soon fell asleep.

I woke up to the chatter of everyone giggling. ":33 AWWW ac ships it!" I heard Nepeta say. I guessed they were talking about Karkat and Feferi, until I opened my eyes.

I had a group, my friends of course, sitting and standing around me, laughing at me. I was in Aradia's lap, and she was asleep.

"Leave u2 alone..." I whined.

They laughed and sat down, "ok ok ok" they muttered.

A doctor came out, "Raine?" He asked, and we all stood up, and I started wakking Aradia up.

"I have good and bad news" he said. "She is alive...but barely breathing.

We winced and nodded.

Dave ran to the front of our group, rushing into room 145, after he said where she was.

He walked on in and stared...
