(Calum's POV)

I couldn't believe it, a girl rejected me...? Kind of? I didn't know, but I was sure next day would be different. I would walk in front of her so she could notice me and she would talk to me for sure.

Next day...

I was in the locker section and I was looking everywhere to see if I could spot her, but I couldn't find her.

"Hey Calum... " Anne approached me.

"Uh?" I said looking at her " Oh hey..."  And I started looking for Y/N again with my eyes.

"So... I was wondering if you'd like to come to my house today, you know we can watch some movie if you want... I bought one last week, it's a horror one and..." 

"Look, I can't. I have plans, but thanks... I guess. Bye" I said and I left.

Suddenly I spotted Y/N again with her friend Mia at the end of the hall. I walked towards them and they notice me. Great I thought. Then, Mia seemed annoyed and she told Y/N something I couldn't hear and she tried to leave. Y/N grabbed her by her arm and told her something but Mia left anyways and Y/N rolled her eyes. When I was finally in front of Y/N I tried to speak.

"H-"

"What do you want?" She said annoyed.

"Well.. I-"

"You just made my friend leave" 

"Well sorry, I just wanted to talk to you" I smiled nerviously.

"What do you want to talk about? Weren't you the one that said that I would be begging you to talk to me?" He rose her eyebrows. 

"Well yeah but... You didn't do it and..."

"Hmm... I have to go now, bye..."

"Wait... " I said grabbing her arm.

"What?"

"There's this really cool party this weekend, and I was wondering if you'd like to go with me" I smiled.

"Why would I want to go with you? You have some other girls waiting for you to ask them to go with you for sure"

"But I don't want to go with them, I want to go with you" I smirked "Here..." I said and I took out of my pocket a little paper with my number and gave it to her.

"What is this?"

"My number"

"Bu-"

"Think about it, okay? And if you agree, give me a call" I said and the bell rang " I have to go now, bye" I said kissing her cheek.

(Y/N'S POV)

That afternoon...

I was sitting on the couch watching some random show on TV, when I remembered I had Calum's number. What about the party? I mean, I hated him but... I could notice he was kind of changing a bit, for me? No way. But he was different, he acted different with me and I didn't know why. 

He wouldn't do that with other girls, I mean he tried to pick up other girls that were my friends and told me everything, and he didn't act like that with them. Was he changing for me?

I decided to call him. 

"Hello?" He said.

"H-Hi... Calum?"

"Y/N? Is this you? Wow I thought you would never call me" He laughed.

"Well... I did. About the party..."

"Yeah?"

"I'll go with you"

"Perfect!"

"But with one condition"

"Tell me"

"When we get there, don't act like I'm your brand new girlfriend, because I know you. We're friends"

"Okay... Saturday at 9, be prepared and text me your direction"

"I will! Bye"

"Bye beautiful!" He said.

I hung up... Beautiful? How cheeky Hood.
