The New Deeks

Nell's POV

*at nell's apartment*
Five months had passed, I'm weeks away from having this baby and I still don't know where Eric and I stand. He's been sleeping over a lot, but that's as far as it goes. I know we were both completely wasted the night we ended up sleeping together, but even before then I had feelings for him. We don't talk a lot, but I really need to know how he feels before the baby comes. I walked over to my couch where Eric was sitting and I took a seat beside him. Eric can we talk? Eric answered sure nell. I took a deep breath and said: we need to talk about us. I'm not sure what you want. Before this conversation goes any further can you tell me how you feel? The room went silent for a while them he replied" nell I really like you, even before thee whole baby thing. I really want to give us a try. If you don't then we can just figure something out." I smiled and said: that's exactly what I want. We are having a baby together. We might as well give it a try. She's kicking, do you want to feel it? I placed his hand on my stomach.

Eric: that's so cool. Does she do that a lot?

She kicks a lot when your talking. I guess she knows the sound of your voice. She's already a genius. You should get ready for work.

Eric: I'm already ready. I looked at him and said: pajamas again eric? He replied: its Friday. He got the keys and drove me to work. We went intha squad room with the guys

Kensi's POV

I was having literally the worst day of my life. I woke up again having braxton hicks contractions again. I've been having them all week long. I really want this girl to come already

Callen: is everything ok kens?

No everything is not ok. Its the opposite of ok Callen

Deeks: don't mind her she's just having a bad week. She's hormonal

I am not. I just want this kid out of me today

Deeks: it would be great if she came on my birthday

Take me home. I can't deal. These contractions are starting to feel real

Deeks: the hospital is a better choice then

Its not time yet. I need to be in my bed

Deeks: your so stubborn. The rain is starting. There's going to be a bad storm so you'll be stuck inside. I looked at him and said: your so annoying.

He took me home and we packed a bag then got the kids and mom, then he drove me to the hospital where I was admitted on the maternity ward. At this time I was having contractions less than a minute apart. I was just about to start pushing when the doctor yelled stop

Doctor snow: whatever you do Mrs deeks, do not push. Your body will want to push but you can't

Deeks: what's wrong?

Doctor snow: we have to get her to the operating room for an emergency c section.

Deeks POV

My heart sank when I heard that something was wrong. They immediately preped kensi for surgery and I went with her into the operating room

Kensi: deeks I'm sorry about being so mean these past few months. You were right. I'm hormonal and I'm sorry I forgot your birthday today

Doctor snow: Mrs deeks do you want to be asleep or awake during the operation?

Kensi: awake. I want to see her

They gave her medication to numb the pain then the operation began. I watched as they cut her open and took out a small crying baby girl. They showed kensi the baby then a nurse took her away. I held kensi's hand as they completed the surgery, then I went with her and our new baby girl to the recovery room.
