The carriage bumped to a stop near a large, deep, hole that goes into the snowy mountain and collapses into the earth after a short walk.
Silf: We made it on time.
Alexander: You could have taken that last part slower.
Silf: Then we wouldn't get here before dark.
Alexander: Ya but ...
Silf: I planned it that way so we can camp in the entrance before we head in.
The took the carriage and unhooked it from the horses. It nayed as gray brought it inside the entrance and hooked it up to a medium-sized rock with grass around it.
The grass was frozen because of the natural weather.
Silf: Hey Alexander.
Alexander: Yes?
Silf: Go get some of the hay from the carriage, I'll make us all beds
Alexander: Sure.
The entrance was a huge tunnel-like area. It had the carving of an unseen power. Ancient words were etched into the walls. They were unreadable.
Silf packed hay into makeshift beds. Gray was brushing the mane of the horse. Alexander was feeling excited for some reason he couldn't comprehend.
Alexander: Hey I'll be back.
Silf: Where are you going.
Alexander: Just outside.
Silf: Well don't go far. I'm tired so good night.
Alexander walks outside.
Alexander: So this is the place ..... I wonder if they know why we're here...
He could feel something strange, his wrists. They felt like they were burning. He had never felt this way before. Peaking at his wrists he saw a bright blue, brighter than he had ever seen, it was almost blinding
. He slipped his glove back on and endured the pain. No matter how much it hurt. That night Alexander couldn't sleep. The pain in his wrists was unbearable.
Silf: Good morning.
Alexander: Morning.
Silf: Well we should get going, INTO THE CAVERN WE GO, wait.
Alexander: Hum?
Silf: Is gray still asleep?
Alexander: Ya I think.
Silf jumped on him like a little sister. This was the first time Alexander heard him yell. He was definitely not a morning person, well this way of waking up wasn't too pleasant either.
Gray: I'M UP GET OFF ME !!
Silf: No need to get butt hurt over it.
Gray:.....
Alexander: Well ok then. Shall we be heading off?
Silf: Ya let's go.
She jumped to her feet and swung her hammer over her shoulder. Gray picked himself up and his hood on. Guessing, he was embarrassed by yelling earlier.
They came to a stop at the bottom of the cavern. Two large doors with fancy designs and the same ancient words that were on the walls on them.
Alexander: Hum what now?
Silf: What If I hit it?
Gray: The place might collapses.
Silf: You're probably right.
Just then. As she spoke that last word another woman's voice rang threw out their heads. It was a strong, noble voice. The voice had a slight echo to it.
Voice: The one, with the ancient blood, unseal it. You know what to do.
Images flashed threw Alexander head.
Silf: What ?? Who are you talking to?
To be continued .......
