The Kiss (Exo Kai fanfic)

Taemin

I go to get changed and realise I still haven't got any clothes, and I definitely can't go out in Kai's shirt. I fumble around looking for the ones I wore yesterday and put them on quickly. They're not as smart as I wanted them to be but I know that they look good on me. I run down the stairs and walk into the living room. "Okay, ready" I lie happily and Kai gets up. He takes my hand in his and we walk through the front door. We are greeted with shouts and flashes and questions. The rest of exo come out with us but stay behind the two of us the whole time. I suddenly feel very self conscious as we start to get nearer- Kai senses it instantly and squeezes my hand to show that he is here for me. Kai puts a finger to his lips and the crowd of reporters go quite, he's obviously used to this because he looks so natural and normal in front of them. "What you all witnessed yesterday was not random- I have been dating Clara for a long time now, but we only recently decided to go public" he continues, lying effortlessly, "I hope no exo-L will have any negative feeling towards her because she is already a very big part of my life" all of exo nod along and the reporters listen quietly, writing and filming everything he says, "Clara has no interest in becoming famous, so that's why we attempted to keep our relationship a secret- unfortunately it couldn't remain a secret for as long as we wanted. She believes that her becoming more popular is a curse, rather than a gift. Clara will be working in the future, so you will here more about her, and I hope you don't believe people when they say that the only reason she gets these opportunities is because of me- she does not want anybody to fuss over her just because she's my girlfriend. I love her very much and I hope you will too. Thank you." And with that he turns away and leads us all back inside. We shut the door on the millions of questions being asked and I sigh in relief. "Kai, do you really love me? Or was that a lie as well?" I ask him with a questioning look. "Of course I love you" he whispers before leaning down and kissing me. He pushes my back against the wall and deepens our kiss. "Get a room" Sehun says bluntly and we both laugh, separating from each other. "We have to go to our schedules now, but I asked Taemin to stay with you" Kai says and there's a knock at the door. "Ah that should be him now" Kai smiles and opens the door, revealing Taemin standing there smiling. his hair is messy and I have to admit- he looks hot. "I only just managed to survive those reporters, why didn't you tell me?" He laughs and jumps onto the sofa, sighing and laying back- his hands on his head. "I like your dorm" he turns and smiles at Kai cheekily. Kai runs over and jumps on him, making Taemin groan in pain. "Ah Kai you gained some weight" he pushes Kai off him and tackles him to the ground. "Get a room" Sehun says again and I erupt into a fit of giggles. Taemin stands up and sorts out his hair, "oh so this is Clara" he walks over to me and kisses my cheek gently. I give him a shocked look and Kai jumps over to us. "Oy Taemin stop that" Kai pushes Taemin away jokily and I give off a nervous giggle. "Aww look I made her nervous" Taemin says- returning to me, touching my cheek lightly. "Fuck off Taemin!" Kai laughs and and pushes him away from me and onto the floor. It's the first time I've heard him swear but I just laugh it off. Taemin and Kai continue to laugh and joke playfully until Suho reminds them about Kai's schedule. "Okay I'm going" Kai huffs and gives me a long kiss before biting his lip and winking at me "see you later" he says. He finally leaves and I blush uncontrollably, covering my cheeks with my hands. "Wow you are reallllyyy smitten" Taemin rolls his eyes and jumps back on to the sofa. I sit down next to him and punch his shoulder lightly, "shut up" I say. "Oh did you seriously just do that!" Taemin asks incredulously, giving me a wide eyed look. "What you going to do about it huh.. Kai will kill you if you touch me" I tease him and punch his shoulder lightly again. "Oh you're gonna die now!" Taemin shouts and I jump up squeeling. I run away and he runs after me, I slip and slide across the floor, trying to escape. He's faster then me so I turn around and run back into the living room, he runs after me and pushes me on the sofa. He's hovering over me, we're both laying down and his arms are on either side of my neck so he doesn't fall on top of me. our faces are so close that I can feel his hair tickling my neck. "You're really trapped now" he laughs as I try to slow down my panting and free myself. "Whyyyy what are you doing to do to me" I whine and his nose touches mine gently. We're both breathing heavily from the run and the atmosphere suddenly turns from fun and playful to something more serious. And then before I know it his lips and are on mine, his touch is so soft and one of his hands move onto my waist. My skirt is hitched up and he slips his hand underneath it. I pull away quickly and jump off the sofa, "no!" I shout at him. "No! No! No! Kai....! KAI! HE'S YOUR BEST FRIEND YOU JERK! And I'm his girlfriend... Fuck... Taemin..... fuck fuck fuck!" I shout, pacing up and down and running my hands through my hair. Taemin sits on the sofa watching me, looking just as exasperated, "he doesn't have to know- just don't tell him okay. It won't happen again... It was a mistake" Taemin puts his head in his hands and fiddles with his own hair. "I-I-I'm going upstairs okay" I whisper and run into Kai's room. I jump into Kai's bed and bury my head into his pillow. What am I going to do?
