I sat in the stands with my friends, waiting for the champions to get back. It was the final task of the Triwizard Tournament. Whoever won this won the whole thing. My brother, Cedric was in the lead. Well, he was tied with Harry, but he was in the lead.

Cho was sitting next to me. "You think Cedric will win?" She asked.

I smiled. "Yes. I have total faith in him.

Suddenly, there was a flash and Harry and Cedric were on the ground. We all cheered. Hogwarts had won. But something was wrong. Very wrong. Cedric wasn't moving. He wasn't breathing. He was dead. I screamed.

The whole stadium was in chaos. Cho burst into tears. I ran down and joined my father who was at Cedric's side. This couldn't be happening. Dumbledore quickly ushered everyone out, and helped my father carry Cedric. I was left in the stands in shock. I couldn't process it. I began to cry.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I jumped.

"It's okay, it's only me."

"Hi Fred," I was grateful to see him.

Fred sat next to me. "Hey, it's going to be better. I promise. It's all going to he okay soon." He pulled me into a hug. I hugged back.

"Thank you. I still can't process any of this."

"I know. It's going to take some time, but everything will be okay." He hugged me again. "Come on, I'll take you to the common room."

Fred helped me up and took me to the Gryffindor common room. It was deserted.

"Do you want anything? Food? A blanket? A prank on anyone you wish?"

I smiled a bit. "I'm okay for now. But thank you for everything."

Fred blushed a bit. "You know, this is kind of a weird time to mention this, but I really like you. I've liked you for a while now."

I looked at him and smiled even more. I leaned my head on his shoulder. "I've liked you too."

Without thinking, I placed my lips onto his. It felt perfect. Just right.
"Thank you for everything tonight," I whispered, "I really needed this."

Fred just smiled and pulled me into another hug.
