Now, I've talked long enough, and let's get to the story!

This oneshot also hasn't been revised and edited, so any mistakes are on me and I apologize for them. When this note is gone, the oneshot will have been edited! :)

Y/N's POV

I didn't want to come back without him knowing, but I couldn't pass the opportunity up when it struck me. Flying back from Europe was one thing, but scaring your vampire lover, a being who uses his sense for a living, was something I had to make sure happened. And I knew how I was going to make it happen as I sat on the plane heading back from Ireland to Forks, Washington to surprise my man. My name is Y/N Y/L/N, and this is how I surprise Jasper Whitlock Hale the Vampire.

When the plane landed in the Seattle Airport seven hours later, I ran out of there so fast I could've been mistaken for a vampire with my speed. My bags wheeled behind me as I saw my mother smiling and waving at the greeters' spot in the massive airport lobby. I ran to her, hugged her tight, and she said into my ear, "I missed you, sweetie. How was Ireland? Did you have fun learning there?"

I nodded into her shoulder and replied, "I had so much fun there and I want to go back, Mom. It was beautiful and all the people that were there helping me learn about the country were amazing; I have some of their numbers so I can keep in touch with them in the future." I pulled my face out of her shoulder and added, "But now, I want to see Jasper again after being away from him for so long."

Mom smiled at me, grabbed my massive suitcase, and declared, "Then let's get going! We got a long drive ahead of us and I know you'll want to go to Forks High School first, since that's probably where Jasper is right about now." I looked at my watch and saw that it was just coming up on lunchtime at the high school, which was perfect for what I wanted to do. I followed Mom to her car, got into the passenger side, and she turned the engine over after putting my suitcase away. I watched the scenery roll by as we drove, hoping this plan would work the way I wanted it to work.

Many hours and miles later...

When I arrived back at Forks High School, it looked as if children didn't go there to learn. Students weren't running around getting to classes and even teachers weren't yelling at the delinquents to get their shit together. Mom took my luggage to my house for me and I slowly entered the hallowed halls of learning, not being stopped by anyone for being a trespasser as I feared I would be. Teachers waved at me as I passed open classrooms and I smiled back, traversing the barren hallways for the place I knew I needed to get to; the school cafeteria. That's where he'd be, and I had to get to him soon.

I pushed through double doors and scores of people as the food wafted toward me, signaling that I was getting closer to where I had to be. Jessica, one of Bella Swan's friends, smiled at me and asked, "Hey, Y/N. What're you doing back here? Shouldn't you still be in Ireland for one more week?"

"Yeah, but I caught an earlier flight out and managed to come back today," I told her while hugging her and exchanging more hugs with some of Bella's other friends. I knew them relatively well and we would hang out sometimes, but they weren't who I wanted to see. As I moved through the lunchline to get food, I said, "Let's hope today isn't too sunny for them."
