Levi x Reader - Winter Formal

This Friday was the Winter Formal that the whole of the Scouting Legion has been waiting for. You, Mikasa, Sasha and Hanji went into Wall Sina for dress shopping. Mikasa, was the first to pick out her dress since she was more into accessories. She picked out a satin red dress that flowed down just below her knees decorated with sparkling gems along the brims. Then Sasha, laid her eyes on a midnight blue mermaid dress which really showed her curves. Hanji picked a green dress alike Mikasa's.

When it came to dresses for you, it was a total nightmare. None of the dresses fitted your body. You were really short and small for your age which made it hard to find a dress suitable for winter and for a formal. The girls made you try on an endless bunch of dresses but none of them suited you. Giving up, you told the girls to let you go exploring by yourself while they choose their accessories. 

You walked down the busy market path looking around trying to find a good boutique. Finally, you spotted a small white boutique at the end of the path. You entered quietly and glanced around hoping to see something you like.

"Hello young lady, how can I help you?" A smooth feminine voice rang from behind a rack of dresses. The lady looked in her mid 30s and had long black hair. She looked awfully familiar but you couldn't quite figure out who she was.

"Oh uh..Hi, I'm looking for a dress that I could wear to a winter formal?" You replied smiling faintly. She nodded and went through a few racks trying to pick something nice. At last, you bought the one you thought looked decent. It was a short (favourite/colour) dress with a black sash separating the top section of the dress. You picked out a small tiara to go with it and a nice pair of white pumps. 

At the counter, you realised you were low on money. You didn't know what to do until you heard the back door open and someone vaguely familiar step into the boutique. You gasped.

"(F/n), not causing trouble are we?" He smirked. He wore a plain white button up shirt and a black leather jacket with navy blue jeans. He looked better than when he is in his uniform.

"N-No sir...." You stuttered looking away. You weren't in your uniform but somehow he still recognised you even though you had your (hair/colour) curled and brushed back. 

"Oh! So you're the beautiful (F/n) Levi mentioned!" The woman gasped.

"Mother! I swear I will tape your mouth shut!" Levi hissed to the woman how he called 'Mother'. Your heart jumped a beat realising that she was so awfully familiar because she had Levi's eyes and hair! You shook your head for not even realising it was your crush's mother.

"Oh uh Hi Ms. Ackerman!" You smiled awkwardly. You wanted to just buy the dress and be on your way but then your realised you didn't have enough money. 

"Tch, I'll pay the rest. You better look decent at the formal. Oh wait you already do, never mind, Now get out." Levi grunted as Ms. Ackerman wrapped your things up. By now, you were a blushing mess. You thanked them and rushed out the store.

"Wow this place is amazing!" Eren squealed as we all entered the mess hall. It was decorated with balloons, candles, and most importantly, food! You laughed and admired how cute he looked in a suit and tie.

"Yeah it sure is! There's even bon fires going to keep this place warm!" Sasha exclaimed already rushing to the food. You sighed and poured yourself some sparkling apple cider. 

"Alright everyone! May I have your attention please!" Commander Erwin half yelled. He was in a blue suit with a black bow tie. "Welcome to the first formal of the year! Please enjoy yourselves! Thank you." He smiled and the music went off. Connie was soon with Sasha on the dance floor, Mikasa and Eren were in the corner chatting away, Armin was socialising with Annie, Hanji was probably already drunk and now flirting with Erwin. You sat alone awkwardly at the comfy chair provided and watched everyone enjoying the night.

"Hey brat, you don't look half bad." A stoic voice said from beside you. You jumped and saw Levi holding a glass of champagne. He was wearing a white suit with a silver tie and black dress shoes. His hair was combed back making his grey eyes flash in the light. 

"Why thank you sir. You don't look bad yourself." You grinned. He smirked and sat down next to you. You felt a little awkward but that soon passed as you two started some conversation. After a while, you felt as though you two were best friends.

"Hey (F/n), what would you say if I asked you out?"Levi suddenly asked. 

"Aha what? Isn't that a little random Levi?" You giggled, blushing.

"I know but what would you say brat?"

"Yes. I would say yes." You replied shyly.

"Awesome, you're my girlfriend now then." He smiled and leaned in to kiss you.

Sparks flew as your lips met for the first time. And that was the beginning of your love story ;)
