Merlin: The missing prince

Chapter 9

Merlin was having a hard time. First, he finally gets a chance to see his brother and maybe save his kingdom, but then he gets sent on an errand. Then he gets kidnapped by slave traders who didn't like his smart mouth. Then he was bought by Morgana and had to see his worst fears as a reality. His body was taken over by Morgana and he almost hurts his friends. He at least managed to save Gwen, after she made a fear into reality. Then his soul was taken out of his body and trapped in a magic staff.

He wasn't the only soul in there either. The staff has been used for centuries to trap the souls of your enemies. Some of these souls don't even have body to return to. Merlin felt lucky he did. At least, for now.

Merlin had five theories on how to get out.

Merlin hoped 5 wasn't true. He decided to try to send his knights a MM and hope it works.

M- George, can you hear me?

G- Sire! Yes I can!

M- good, Now what has Morgana done since she took my soul?

G- I do not know all Sire, but all of the Ambrosia knights are in the dungeon, unable to communicate, except through MM as Morgana does not know of our magic. I do not know of the others though.

M- Are you three alright?

G- yes. we are all unharmed.

M- ok, now, Morgana has trapped my soul in the Cubile Animus staff

( A/N WHO KNOWS WHERE THAT IS FROM?? IF YOU KNOW, FIRST CORRECT COMMENT GETS A SURPRISE! Back to it!)

G- What?! That is real?! How did she find it!?

M- I know not of how she had come to posses it

G- Have you found out how to get out?

M-I have come up with five ways

1) The staff has to be destroyed

2) the one who put you in there has to take you out

3) The one you in there has to be defeated and the one who defeated then take the person out

4) The people in there have to work together to get out

5) you never get out

G-which would you like me to try? Also could you cast a spell resident charm on the Ambrosia knits as we are trapped using magic.

M- Yes i will do that right now and do it in this order: 2,3,4,1,5

G- yes sire and thank and thank you. Once we break free, we will set to work on setting you free.

M- No. First free the others and then get to work on me. it is not like i am going anywhere. When you start, make sure my body is unconscious as it is under Morgana's control.

G- yes sire. I will alert the others of the plan. Try to think of more ways.

M- of course George. And i have though of one more way to try before #1

G-what is it sire?

M-You can try to transfer my soul into somebody's body and then transfer it into my own, but, it is very dangerous.

G- We will make that the last option, before destroying it of course

M- I am counting on you georgie and send my brother a message explaining everything please, and don't tell the others of my royalty unless #1 fails and i won't be able to tell them. But only then, understand?

G- yes sire

M- And george?

G- yes?

M- what have i said about calling me sire?

G-glad to know you back to normal Merls

M-bye George, i need to talk over the plan with the other souls, and you need to start saving the others

G- bye Merlin, i won't let you down

M- i know you won't

After that, the messages were cut off. George set off into action.

He managed to set free the other knights and they snuck off into the forest to start discussing the plan.

" ok, we need to figure out where everyone is"

Sir Morgan stated

" i have a sneaking suspicion the queen is in Morgana's chambers, remember Merlin said she used to be Morgana's chambermaid" Sir George reasoned

" that sound correct, but where are her chambers?"

Sir Ronald asked

" How about we do a tracking spell on everyone? We can start with the Round table knights and then Queen Guinevere and then King Arthur? Start out small with people Morgana won't notice missing snd then rescue the ones she will notice." Ronald continued

" wait what about the physician Merlin mentioned?"

Morgan asked " we need to rescue him too!"

" Instead of doing them at separate times, how about we each take three people to rescue at once, that way we aren't giving Morgana a chance to hide them or kill them or something." George offered and the other two agreed.

" George, you take the king, I will take the queen and Ronald you take Gaius, we will spilt up the other knights" Morgan said and the other two agreed again.

" Moragn, you take Percival and Gwaine, Ronald, you take Leon and Mordred, i will take Elyan and Lancelot" George said and they all looked at each other, pleased with who they will save. They casted their spells and set off on saving Merlin's friends.

Ronald went for Gaius first, knowing the old man's worth to Merlin. He found him chained up on his bed in the physician's quarters. He quickly saw him to the safe area they set up and had put protection spells on. Morgan Went for Percival, quickly explaining to the others what was happening. Morgan saw Ronald on his way to the safe area. George went for Elyan, knowing Percival was already with Gaius and thought maybe they could use some blacksmith with the brains and brawn.

Next, Ronald got Leon. When he got Leon to the safe area, he explained they needed to figure out a way to save Merlin, and told Gaius to explain what the cubeile animus staff was. Morgan Got Gwaine, explain to Mordred that Ronald would be there soon. George got Lancelot, the last of the knights in the Armory.

The last Ronald got was Mordred, who used his magic to strengthen the protection charm on the safe area. Luckily for Morgan, Morgana was in a meeting with Merlin's body and some other kingdoms and he managed to get Gwen quickly. Elan and Gaius were the most happy about that. Arthur was last, George's responsibility. George saw the weapons, he was glad none looked used. Arthur looked starving though.

Soon everyone was safe and were discussing ways on saving Merlin.

" Wait how do you know where Merlin is, how did you find us all, how did you escape and how is this area so safe?" Arthur asked confused, once he got some food. The ambrosia knights looked at each other and all launched into explaination.
