Merlin: The missing prince

Chapter 6

3rd Person POV

Now, the knights and Arthur were working on finding Merlin even harder if that was possible. They found something in common; they want to save their friend and lifesaver, Merlin. Arthur relaxed a little bit more knowing that was why Merlin hung with those knights and why he acted weird when he heard the name Ambrosia but, one thing was still nagging at him. Why wouldn't ever tell them? All the other camelot knights were wondering this also.

" Sir Morgan?" Called Gwaine
" Yes Sir Gwaine?" Sir Morgan said
" I was wondering, why wouldn't Merlin tell us of his true heritage. I mean, it's not like we would've treated him differently" Gwaine asked, getting tired of just wondering instead of knowing.
" There is something i had forgot to mention, Merlin's dad was a knight but, before he was born, his dad went on a mission and never came back. The princes' uncle wanted to kill every loyal person to the king and knew how loyal Merlin and his family was to Ambrosia, that was why Merlin had to flee. If the princes' uncle had known of Merlin's whereabouts, he would have sent for Merlin and his mother to be killed. He trusts you but if one of Balathor's men had heard, he would have been in grave danger" The knight explained but, Gwaine was still confused.
" Merlin told me he had met his father briefly before his father died" Gwaine said confused and now Arthur was confused.
"Wait, he did? He has never told me that" Arthur said
" Wait, Balinor is dead?" Sir Ronald said, now all three knights looking panicked
" Did you say Balinor? And why would it matter if his father is dead" Arthur asked
" Yes and because in Ambrosia we have a tradition, once a knight dies, his firstborn son will take his place, meaning Merlin is a knight of Ambrosia" Sir George explained and then the camelot knights burst into laughter. Except for Gwaine, Percival and Lancelot.
" M-Merlin? A knight?! Ha he can't even hold a sword!" Arthur said and the ambrosia knights looked furious.
" Do you lot not realize how insulting you lot are being to you friend who has saved your lives and mine many time?! Remember those undead knights when Morgana and Morgause attacked? Yeah Merlin beat them in a sword fight. And you can not argue he has the bravery and chivalry to be a knight!" Lancelot yelled at them and then their faces fell with guilt. They had just made fun of the person who had saved their lives many, many, many times and who had just gotten kidnapped by Morgana and was most likely being tortured. Had they always been so.......condescending of the lower class? Maybe Merlin had a right go insult them all the time. Mainly Arthur. No wonder some people like Gwaine hates nobles, they are big jerks!

Arthur and the knights who had laughed with him has thanked Lancelot for showing them what prats they are and how they need to get back to work on finding Merlin.

3 days later, they are about to set off when the doors fly open to reveal Merlin, his eyes glowing gold and purple. He had a blank face on, like he could not even see what was going on. The knights were about to walk to Merlin when an enemy of camelot came to view with an evil smirk on her face.
