Your stomach ached.
You just couldn't believe everything,... How was it all real.
Shawn just finished telling Manuel and he didn't move.
Shawn's dad seemed shocked, confused.. Thinking you were joking almost.
You weren't.
Karen was still getting Shawn's grandmother so her side of the story was here to help.
"You're.. Preg-pregnant?" Shawn's dad hesitated
You nodded, squeezing Shawn's hand harder under the table.
"Does your mother know about this yet Shawn?".
"We told her before we came."
Manuel looked down.
"How far along?".
Shawn made eye contact with you.
"We have known for atleast 3 weeks."
Aaliyah sat still, trying to find words to say to her dad.
"I'm sorry" we're the last words Shawn spoke before his mom came approaching the table.
Manuel nodded and spoke under his breathe "we'll speak later"...
Shawn's grandmother was here.

You met Shawn's grandmother once at a family Christmas party. She had came, with many other of Shawn's relatives.
How fun would it be to tell her...
Only have met her once, not having a clue who you are, and say "hey, your grandson got me pregnant"..
Your heart aches at the thought of telling her.
NEVERMIND just her, but the whole entire family.

Shawn's mom approached the table with his grandmother, as everyone greeted one another.
Shawn's grandmother looked at you in a heartbeat as she spoke the words "hello beautiful".
She remembered you,..
But that could possibly change in a heartbeat.
Shawn got up to give her a kiss, as he let go of your hand.
This dinner was going quite fine...

Everyone began to sit down again, as Karen began to start up a convo.
You couldn't focus on what they were saying. Your mind was too set on the baby...
On how to tell everyone.
You turned to Shawn and nudged him.
"Shawn".
He turned to you.
"Walk?". He looked around and responded.
"Sure".
