Chapter 22 : Finding

"Hey, guys!"

Kurenai and Asuma were walking together towards Kakashi. Kakashi was leaning on the wall next to a restaurant. Just casually reading that perverted book of his before noticing Asuma and Kurenai.

"You 2 seem to be getting along," Kakashi said giving them a knowing look.

"Idiot. Anko just asked me to pick up some rice dumplings for her." Kurenai said looking away with a blush growing on her cheeks.

"What are you doing here besides catching up on your reading?" Asuma said even though enjoying Kurenai's embarrassment.

"I need to buy something to put on a grave. Plus I'm meeting somebody here, I'm just waiting on Sasuke." Kakashi said while eying the people inside the restaurant.

It was kind of obvious that the 2 people inside the restaurant weren't from here. Their black cloaks and distinctive red clouds stood them out from the rest. Asuma and Kurenai side glances at what Kakashi was looking at. They finally understood what was going on.

"Ha! It's not like you to be waiting on for something. Is it for Obito?" Asuma said.

"Obito?" Kurenai said in confusion.

"Err... Yeah. Kind of." Kakashi said shyly.

Kurenai and Asuma noticed Sasuke coming closer so they decided to keep quiet. Kakashi noticed Sasuke when he came up to him with a shocked expression.

"Kakashi is not like you to show up so early. What gives?" Sasuke said raising an eyebrow at him.

"Well, sometimes I do." Kakashi gives a closed smile.

"Let's eat somewhere else. I don't have much of a sweet tooth." Sasuke said in irritation after looking at the restaurant.

"Hmm. Is that so?" Kakashi said before giving Asuma and Kurenai a side-glance.

Suddenly Asuma and Kurenai disappear from their sights. Sasuke wondered why they had suddenly disappeared. Something was definitely going on.

Asuma and Kurenai stopped in front of the 2 figures, blocking their path out of the village. Asuma started at 2 figures in front of him. He couldn't quite see their faces as their hats covered it.

"You guys aren't from around here. What are you doing in this village?" Asuma said staring at them with careful eyes.

"It's been a long time Kurenai. Asuma." Itachi said.

"The fact that you know our names, must mean that you were a former shinobi of this village," Asuma said.

Itachi lifted his hat revealing those red eyes of his. It is the treasure of the Uchiha clan. A tremor started to grow in Kurenai as she and Asuma gasp in shock. Itachi fully takes off his hat and opens up his cloak to let air in.

"Huh. Well, what do you know? Itachi. Itachi Uchiha." Asuma said with a smirk.

"Are these friends of yours Itachi? Well, then I suppose I should introduce myself. Hope we can get acquainted later. The name is Kisame Hoshigaki" Kisame said taking off his hat.

"Why should we wait later? When I can just wipe the floor with the both of you right now." Asuma threaten.

"Boy, Itachi. It looks like they hate you as much in this village, as they do in mine." Kisame said with a cheeky grin.

"We know who you are Kisame. You come from the village of the mist. Charged with espionage and suspected of killing a feudal lord. You are a rogue ninja from the land of water. Wanted in every nation." Kurenai said finally.
