You were sitting in your office and you heard the unmistakable sound of House bouncing his ball. You sighed and looked up from your paper work to see House in his office. He looked so distracted almost as if he didn't know what to do. You stood from your desk and went outside on the balcony. To your right House's outside balcony, to your left Wilson's outside balcony. You lean against the brick wall out looking the city. You sighed and closed your eyes thinking about House. His blue eyes that could read you like a book. You shook your head and opened your eyes.
"Hey, what are you doing out here? Don't you have paper work to do?" You heard House ask as he came out of his office. You looked at him and said
"I needed some air." House nodded and said
"Uh-huh. Then, why are you messing with the ends of your hair? You only do that when you're thinking or when your nervous. Noting to be nervous about. So, what are you thinking about?" You sighed and walked towards your office door. When your hand was on the door House said
"(Y/N), wait." You looked at him and he jumped over the little wall dividing your balconies. You eyed him cautiously and said
"What?" House leaned against the wall and said
"How'd you get to work this morning? Your car isn't here." You looked at him and said
"Wilson. I'm looking for a ride. That's what I'm thinking about. I need a ride home in..." You looked at your watch.
"30 minutes." House chuckled and said
"I'll drive you home." You sighed and said
"Uhh. Us two alone on your bike? That doesn't seem like the best idea." House smirked and said
"It's just a ride home." You nodded and said
"Alright. See you down stairs in 20 minutes." House nodded and went back into his office. You smiled gently and blushed slightly. You sighed and Wilson said
"What are you thinking, (Y/N)?" You looked at him and said
"Nothing. It's- Nothing." Wilson nodded and you walked into your office. You grabbed your leather jacket and walked towards the elevator. You met House on the elevator and said
"Hmm. How strange." House raised a brow at you and said
"What's that?" You shook your head and said
"Nothing. Just nothing." You followed House towards his bike. He got on and you jumped on the back. You held onto him gently, he grabbed your arms and wrapped them around his torso. He started the bike and took off towards the house. You sighed and murmured
"I hate that I love you." House stopped in front of the house and said
"Okay we're here." You hopped off the bike and walked into the house taking off your jacket and throwing it into the closet.
