Sana pov:

I groaned. My body felt heavy. My mind muddled up. I struggled to peel my eyes open. My vision was blurry but I blinked several times and finally focused on the wooden ceiling.

I moved my head and looked around me. I was lying alone in a room and there were two pillows beside me. I sat up slowly and my head spun for a second. I pushed the covers off myself and slowly stood up. I slowly walked to the door but paused when it was opened and Ichigo and Rukia walked in. When he saw me awake, his eyes went wide. "Sana!" He called out and walked to me. I smiled but I felt dizzy again and fell forward. Ichigo caught me against himself and sat down with me. "Oi Sana, are you alright?" He asked worried.

I laughed and nodded. "I'm fine. I just felt dizzy for a second there." I looked up with a reassuring smile and he gave a relieved sigh. "Honestly, you scared us half to death." He scolded and I smiled sheepishly. I looked at the door and it was dark outside. "How long was I out?" I asked and Ichigo let go of me. "For most of the day. Its midnight now." Rukia said and I shook my head. "I see."

"The captain commander told us to bring you to the captain's meeting room the minute you wake up. They want to talk about what happened this morning.....and as to why you have a Zanpakuto." Rukia said eyeing behind me. When I looked behind me, I saw a sleek katana lying on the ground next to the mattress I had been lying on. Oh yeah.....now I remember. I met Kagamihato in my subconscious and he had told me about my abilities. And even though I wasn't a shinigami, I still had a Zanpakuto.

"Sana, we can go after you've rested. We can tell them to give you some more time." I looked back at Ichigo with a smile. "No, that's alright. I'm feeling fine. We shouldn't make the captains wait." I said and I stood up again. Ichigo hesitated and held out his arms to catch me in case I fell again. But I chuckled and I walked to the mattress to pick up my Zanpakuto. "I'm fine Ichigo, really." I said and he nodded with a smile. "Okay. We should tell Byakuya so he can send the message to all the other captains." I nodded and we walked out of the room following Rukia as she led us to Byakuya san's room. She knocked and we heard him give us permission to enter.

When we walked in, Byakuya san looked at me first. "She finally awoke." He said it more like a statement and like he had been waiting for several days for me to wake up.  I rolled my eyes slightly but he got up and snapped his fingers. Immediately, a few people arrived in the room and Byakuya san sent them off to call the other captains and inform the captain commander. Then he turned back to us and eyed me. "We should go as well." He didn't bother asking me if I was feeling alright and I couldn't help but mentally scoff at his indifferent attitude. Well, wasn't he Mr. Courteous?

We made it to the meeting room a few minutes later and as usual, all the captains had gathered and they watched me cautiously as I stepped in. I wasn't nervous this time and I stood in front of them confidently. Orihime and Sado were there too and they looked relieved when they saw me. "Sana chan! How are you feeling?" Orihime ran to me with a worried look on her face. I smiled ans nodded. "I'm fine. Just a little lethargic but I'm okay."

"Here, you should wear this." She handed me the necklace and I put it around my neck. "Thanks, Orihime." I turned back to the captains who were waiting expectantly and finally looked at the captain commander. "It looks like the research went well and we were able to get you to release your true powers. Even though you are not a shinigami, you have a Zanpakuto. Is there anything you wish to explain to us?" He asked seriously. "Yes....I think its right that you all know about my abilities. After all, its thanks to Ichigo and all the others that I'm safe and aware of my true potential."
