I looked at the tensed people inside this small room where we are residing to talk about executing our plan. The smell of biblichor that I was once addicted to doesn't give me pleasure anymore.

Since we're in a war, and even those things that once gave us something don't bring the same feelings anymore.

Even how clear the sky above that was once my comfort zone, but now, it seems that I would be scared at looking at the clear sky after this. . . if we will ever survive this helluva of an apocalypse.

“Listen. When Dreyard's group is pouring gasoline at the front yard, we will clear the zombies that are at the back yard and by the huge gasoline tank truck at the backyard, that's the path we will use to escape.” I proceeded to explain the plan.

“They will use a ladder in an horizontal form to reach the concrete, and that's how they will pour the gasoline. If I was right, the thickness of the concrete is enough to make them stand on it.” I looked at Meredith and Parker for confirmation which all of them nodded.

I nodded back and continued explaining.

“Some people need to remain here to support them as well as to attract the zombies' attention. If they wouldn't see us here, they would go to the back part and all of you aware that they're being attracted by everything they see,” I explained to them while gazing through the blueprint that remained on the table, before lifting my head to hear their opinions.

If evee these zombies go to the back, our plan will fail and we won't be able to escape.

No one talked, since I was welcomed by their attentive eyes as if they're waiting for me to say my commands. Seeing that one opposed, which means my plan is at their likings.

No. . . it's because we don't have any choice.

If we storm out to the front gate, the only path of a vehicle we could use, there's no guarantee that we'll be able to get away from that horde of zombies so thick and heavy that they would only push us back with force.

Mapipigil lamang kami sa pag abante at mas lalo kaming mawawalan ng choice kung hindi ang sumuko.

If there are some aerial vehicles, maybe we could escape from this horde. However, there's nothing. Tanging ang sarili lamang namin ang meron kami. . . mali, madami kami, at sapat na iyon para makatakas rito.

Kung sakanilang may makakatakas man, sila ang tatapos ng aming sinimulan.

Hindi. . . dahil kailangang may makatakas talaga, kahit kaunting bilang lamang.

And I am willing to sacrifice myself just for someone to escape from this hell.

“I'll lead the group at the back yard,” Faye said which woke me up from thoughts, which I nodded my head at her.

May hinagis ito sa akin na aking sinalo. Napatingin ako sa aking hawak at medyo nanlaki ang mata nang makita iyon.

“In case you forgot. Warren kept it for us,” she added and turned her back, holding her upgraded submachine gun, before running towards the path where it would lead her to the backyard.

“How can you be calm even though her plan doesn't guarantee our escape?” Meredith suddenly spoke for a while, the reason why everything fell silent.

Are we calm? Maybe because we were trained to be—

“It's a war. We must take risks even our lives are at stake. There's no other option, that's why we must execute her plans,” Zeon suddenly pinpoint that made me look at him.

He isn't looking at me but remained to look at Meredith as if he's proving his words as accurate that he wants his receiver to realize it. He seemed as if talking to our leaders. . . I mean, those who rank higher than us, which I remembered seeing him for he once proved his opinion to them.
