When writers write stories, do they know the end of the story? Is there any end to the story? Maybe a possible ending has to be chosen. Where is the end of the story of the author of all the stories in the world, the one who writes or has written all the stories? We are just fictional characters in the great sacrifice of that author's writing. The greatness of imagination is probably not so much in search, but in the current of imagination.
