When your gym teacher won't let you participate in gym even though it's a free day and all you want to do is pass a volleyball to yourself on a wall because you're wearing a skirt and boots because you wanted to feel pretty today and didn't have any clean pants because you couldn't fold laundry all week because you had volleyball and homework and didn't have enough spare time to do so, so you have to do classwork instead, even though you're perfectly comfortable dealing with your own poor judgement to wear boots on a gym day if it means you get to participate and not sit on your ass for the next 55 minutes.
