          I FINISHED IT. AND NOW I’M IN SHAMBLES.
          ───────────────
          
          This was supposed to be a one-shot. Just one story. One idea. One heartbreak.
          
          But now I’m staring at my screen missing Esela Marisol Vega like she was a real person who just walked out of my life. And don’t even get me started on Miguel O’Hara, the angriest man alive who somehow melted just a little for her.
          
          I’ve never finished a full story before — especially one that actually has a beginning, middle, and a (very emotional, kind of haunting) end. And yet here we are. The ending is open… the story technically could continue… but I’m also scared because I want to create things people love — and I don’t want to drag it on if it doesn’t hit the same.
          
          ✨ This was a personal story. About memory, grief, fate, and the strange connection between two people from entirely different worlds. And I loved writing every second of it.
          
          But now it’s over (maybe?), and I miss them already. T-T
          
          If you want more… if this story stays with you the way it’s staying with me… I’ll be watching. Quietly. Anxiously. And maybe — just maybe — Miguel and Esela will get one more chance.

Okay real talk, y’all… T-T
          
          WHY is it so easy to write one-shots—whether they’re 1K or 10K words—and yet finishing a full book feels like climbing Mount Everest with no gear?!  Like?? I can knock out a whole emotional rollercoaster in one night, but ask me to finish Chapter 7 of my novel and suddenly I’ve forgotten how to spell.
          
          I’m genuinely curious… when did YOU realize it’s easier to write short stories/one-shots than full books? Was it the vibe? The low stakes? The immediate gratification of being DONE? 
          
          Let’s talk about it. Writer to writer. Reader to reader. Fellow emotionally unstable creatives to fellow emotionally unstable creatives.
          
          Drop your thoughts in the comments because I KNOW I’m not the only one out here struggling with my 400th unfinished WIP while simultaneously planning 3 new one-shots.

Hello, my lovelies,
          
          It feels so surreal to be writing this. It’s been a hot, hot minute — my last real update here was all the way back in 2023. Life swept me up in ways I never expected, but through it all, I never forgot about you or the stories we started together.
          
          First, a little life update: I’m thrilled to share that I’m graduating with my Associate’s degree soon! After that, I’ll be transferring to a big university to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, and possibly minoring in Public Policy. It feels unreal to finally be at this point, especially after how many late nights and hard days it took to get here.
          
          Also, somehow, I’m turning 21 this September. Adulthood really snuck up on me — one day I was stressing over schoolwork, and now I’m googling “how to do taxes” at two in the morning. Still, it feels like the start of something incredible.
          
          And now the best part: I’m finally returning to writing. After everything, I am ready to finish the long-awaited projects and start new ones. These characters, these worlds — they’ve lived inside me all this time, just waiting.
          
          Thank you for being patient. Thank you for believing. I’m back, lovelies — and the best is yet to come.
