Hello people out there in Internet-land! Congratulations, you have stumbled upon the profile of a self-professed book nerd, grammar freak, and lover of language in general. I'll read pretty much anything, although my favourite genres are fantasy & historical fiction. I've never really finished writing a story, which is why I haven't posted any.
I love music just as much as I love books. If someone asked me to choose between the two, I might jump off a bridge. (A very small one, but it still gets the point across.) I started playing violin when I was six (hence the picture of a violin), and I'm attempting to teach myself ukulele, although it's not quite as easy as it seems.
I also spend a considerable amount of time making origami. In fact, I have an entire shelf dedicated to the storage of origami cranes.
Some of my favourite bands (in no particular order): Coldplay, Twenty One Pilots, Of Monsters & Men, and anything else that has lyrics that actually mean something.
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I'd go to Ireland. Being part Irish, I've always thought that would be interesting.
