i just gave my friend clothes because her mom took hers…

she’s trans, and her mom is “accepting” until she isn’t.
my friend did something, her mom got mad. and as punishment she took her feminine clothes, makeup, wigs, bras, everything. except for ONE little top. all she was as left with was her old clothes from before she came out, but those give her extreme dysphoria.
i offered her some clothes until she can get some of her own and she accepted, and she was extremely grateful, but i still feel so bad that she has to go through that.

this isn’t acceptance or love. and this isn’t how to raise a child.

I'm bigender, but normally lean more towards more masculine clothes and hairstyles. My parents don't know and get mad at me for buying "boy clothes" and I'm too scared to tell them, but I hate when they say 'my little girl.' Honestly, if they're going to be accepting, they should start showing it.

@walmartzuko I agree. My mom’s kinda bad with stuff like me getting “masculine things” like a male bike. I haven’t came out yet, but I don’t like when I don’t feel female and my parents are suddenly all “my daughter” this and “my daughter” that. They’re trying their best, but it feels like it’s being shoved down my throat, resulting in my own extreme dysphoria. I am going to get both masculine and feminine clothes this year, so I’m not gonna let that get in the way ‍♀️
