i ━ THE START
k'shan was born in WAKANDA, within the lion cult that resided in the futuristic savannah of serpent valley. he lived a good life there. his two moms - former dora milaje for the panther cult - though stern, treated him like a PRINCE. They had reason to. their son excelled at school by doing his best, even from a young age. 

ii ━ BURNING ALIVE
everything changed on the day when one of his teachers decided to watch a movie with the class. the lights turned off and the movie began to play. blisters bubbled up k'shan's skin,  his fingers shriveled because they became so dry. he FRANTICALLY rose his decaying hand and called for help. that was the last he remembered, because the eight year old ragdolled from his chair after that. 

this day marked a point where his life CHANGED. priests told his mothers the blood of the solar deity SEKHMET was coursing through his veins. sekhmet was the goddess the lion cult worshipped. daughter of ra, she was often associated with the sun, disease, and healing. the priests were convinced this young boy carried sekhmet's soul within. this was why he could not live without light on his skin, because neither could sekhmet.

iii ━ GROWING UP
word got out. his social life vanished, no more friends came over. the boy, now growing into a man, began to FEAR the dark, because he did not know what would happen to him if he stayed in it for too long. everywhere he went, they whispered 'sekhmet.' though they did show WORSHIP, they never once uttered his birth name any longer. 

now an adult, he's travelled to the USA in search of PEACE.
