Over the past year, I've had some issues with my appearance. I mean, I can't say I'm completely over it, but I've started to embrace who I am, at least a little bit. So here's what I did: I watched some videos and checked out TikTok to surround myself with positive vibes and motivation to love myself just the way I am. Right now, I'm sixteen years old, and yeah, I might be a bit on the chubby side, especially around my stomach. Honestly, though, I never really paid much attention to my looks until this year when I overheard someone in my class whispered to another guy about wanting to date me. The guy who he told called me fat and questioned why he would even be interested in me. I was so embarrassed that I froze in my seat, cheeks burning crimson. It really hurt my heart, you know? So, if you're going through the same thing or just here for support, please understand that it doesn't matter how you look. The most important thing is to love yourself first if you want to truly love someone else.
