@kirbygod836 Sorry for the late response but things are moving along relatively slow at the moment as I've been off doing other things as well as moving most of my attention towards a different pet project outside writing though I try to release 1 new chapter a month in terms of Genso Tales but thank you for the concern.
Are you still writing?
@JunN35 Yes but very little since I got little to no time to write but I try to get some writing done during my free time since I don't like leaving stories unfinished or cancelled since it ruins the fun of telling a story from start to finish.
When will you update your stories???
@HermenegildoEdradan Hopefully some time this month, but things have been going relatively slow due to some burn out on my end though I'll try to get back on track and continue updating as soon as I can.
Are all of your Touhou stories connected by that I mean do they take place in the same universe if so it would be pretty cool to see some references to your other stories in your new ones
@Neosisneos I have been planning on somehow incorporating a shared world between stories with genso tale taking place a month after the end of Serenade of the Night's story, with it following one of the four endings, albiet not too in depth but the story is still is a long way from connecting itself to Serenade of the Night in terms of story progression, for now anyways.
just out of curiosity, are you still planning on finishing the current stories?
I am, but sadly I'm too busy to get much writing done since I'm planning on lightly rebooting Genso Tales since I'm not happy with the pacing of the story (As well as all of chapter 3) so I'm planning on rebooting the story as well as uploading the fourth chapter this month hopefully.
It's been awhile, hasn't it? Now, I promised to keep communication on any progress with you all and staying true to my word, here we are. Now, there are a few things I want to say
First and foremost, the new chapter of Genso Tales is out and I promise the next chapter will be out by July, otherwise you can bring out the pitchforks if I fail to deliver.
Next up, I'm proud to announce that I'm currently working on a one-shot longfiction over on fanfiction which follows a female OC's story rather than my typical male reader format that I've come to abuse to extinction on here.
Now, as much as I want to say that this is all I have to write about, there something else that I need to address and it hurts me to announce this but I'm stepping down from writing, permanently. The current projects will be still worked on and finished eventually but no further stories will be published going forward.
I never even expected my first story to go far. It was something I made at 3Am while sleep deprived, thinking that It'd just be pushed to the bottom of the list of unique stories on wattpad, never to be seen again but here we are and I want to thank you all for everything. Your support had helped me remain motivated and improve on my work with time. And I want to thank the people that I ended up meeting during my writing endeavours, like DepressedSandCannon, for inspiring me to keep going whether it was through critism or ideas as, my early stories like Candle Flame or Serenade of the Night were far from perfect and if I had the chance, I'd more than likely give both stories a hard reset with a better story and overall less grammar errors but as time went by I felt less invested in writing, resulting in my weekly upload schedules turning into a one chapter per few months which brings us to today, where I made the decision to put writing behind me in order to pursue bigger avenues outside of writing.

@unrelatedapterix damn, I was gone on holidays for a month and I come back to see this but thank you for the stories and I will be looking forward to the upcoming story next year
@unrelatedapterix You're welcome, man. As I've already told you, 'Candle Flame' inspired me to get into writing myself. So thank you! May your future endeavors be as fruitfull as a field of fully grown grape vine. If you put as much effort and care you did with your stories, then there's no doubt you'll thrive. (Anyway, I'll get back to you whenever my break is done, to work on chapter 4 of 'Starless Night Sky'.)

Unrelated to this, I'll be slowly returning to working on Genso Tales albeit at a slow rate meaning it won't be receiving regular continuations as the first two stories have in the past.
@SayoriKirisame I have thought about it in the past and I was tempted to write a longfic on many occasions within fanfic .net but never really got around to doing it out of a lack in creativity at the time but thank you very much for your words. I'll more than likely do it some time down the road when an idea pops up.
@DepressedSandCannon there's no need to apologise you two have created one of the best touhou stories I've seen in awhile! Its a nice breath of fresh air reading about a grim touhou story rather than the usual upbeat ones so you two deserve to take your time.
@unrelatedapterix Hey, just a question, do you ever plan to make a longfic in the future? (possibly on ao3 or fan . net) I've come to enjoy your writing lol but they are rather on the shorter side. Oh and please keep up the good work!
When is the next chapter of starless night sky gonna come?
@Neosisneos I can't say for certain when the chapter is ready to be released exactly but it may come some time in February although I cannot make any promises of that being a definitive release date. In the mean time, both me and DepressedSandCannon will try our best to finish the chapter.
