I live with a cat in a haunted house.  I've written most of my life, mostly for Midwestern papers, including the Chicago Tribune.  My interest lies somewhere between technology and transcendental conundrums.  

To make ends meet, I've worked at various fine employers such as MIT and BBN, both of Cambridge, MA.  It has been a long time since I've plugged in an ethernet cable for money.  I miss those days.

Since I was in my teens I've had a fascination for the "short short" genre.  Ever since then I've tried to live up to the tremendous potential of that form.
