Hello readers,
On June 4th, my grandfather sadly left this world. The weeks leading to this were filled with uncertainties and unknown variables. Before he became sick, my grandmother had surgery, and my family was in charge of taking care of both of them since my grandmother was her husband's sole caregiver. However, my grandfather, with his history of cancer and other illnesses, contracted COVID, which led to his respiratory problems. I tried to keep my promise, but life had other plans. My birthday is June 16th, and Thursday was my first birthday without him, and it hurt deeply that he wasn't here to celebrate.
This fanfic holds dear to my heart not only because I've planned every detail, but because my grandfather and I shared a love of crime shows. Thank you for y'all's patience, and I'll try my best to continue writing.
