Despite having been the one to initiate the conversation, Idia was hardly able to reign in his squeel of fear as that piercing glare was aimed right at him. "I was just...Look. For reasons you don't need to know, Ortho's been forcing me out more than usual and its kinda hard to get back in when he can change the password to the electronic key pad faster than I can figure it out." Idia rambled, looking anywhere but at Leona. "Due to previous encounters and general knowledge, you're the best person to ask about hiding places around campus considering how often you skim out for naps. Just some place to lay low until he decides to let me back in." Quieter, as if he wasnt but a few feet away, Idia whispered. "I'm risking an encounter with a super rare boss right now because /someone's/ being stubborn. These better have been the right dialogue choices, or I swear I'll figure out how to break the door down."

leona, who had definitely heard him and was simply hoping that idia wouldn't make an attempt to disrupt his inner peace, continues to lay back with his eyes closed even when sensing his presence nearby. his statement is ignored at first- but eventually, he does open one eye to glare at him. he wasn't wrong, but the only people who spiled him were ones thay he saw as family like lilia and silva. he helped raised kne of them and the other helped raised him too. " I know it is a problem. though, I prefer the attention of 3 people over none at all, so could you really blame me for not stopping it? "

sadly, not every house shared his feelings. being a fae and one as powerful as he was, many avoided him. it was the main reason he wouldn't be invited to so many events. he was glad there were at least a few who didn't care for such things.

it probably didn't help that malleus was so hard to read as well. his expressions never fully seemed to show what he was feelingnor thinking. even some seemed a bit forced or fake.
