Hell, I've become a hypocrite and I don't want to be one.

Never expect things. Neither from yourself, not from others. Expectation is the only thing that makes you feel sad. Nobody is going to stand upto your expectations. Just stop expecting and you'll see a big change in your life. You'll be a lot happier and cheerful
