@starleiaorgana2667 Hi bestie!! Sorry for such a late reply-- I've been okay, just super busy with my personal life. It's hard to find a balance for time to write and then edit that writing, so that's why I've been gone for a while, trying to use what free time I do have to focus on that. I hope you're doing well and I love you too and most of all I miss your slightly aggressive/sarcastic comments!!!! I hope I can also get back to reading your book soon cause I just know you're killing it ❤️❤️

I know losing Arryk and Erryk is horrible, but Miara had to witness the consequences of letting duty be prioritized over love for herself by ppl she loved, not just her mother. It had to really hurt for her to finally unlearn what’s been holding her back.
Arryk couldn’t abandon his original oath, even for his brother, and Erryk broke their sacred bond to their faith by committing kinslaying. That guilt drove him to take his own life, and he still apologized to his queen for breaking the oath he made to her.
Neither of them found balance, and it’s up to her to break that cycle. Ugh, if that’s not traumatic poetry, I don’t know what is.
