Hi everyone, I unpublished all chapters of Ashes to Ashes for a rewrite. While I love much of the later chapters of season two, season one and the early chapters of season two weren’t written well or in the way that I had wanted them to be. I originally wrote those chapters at 19-20 after not having written anything in four years (I only just published them last year). So, my writing and storytelling weren’t the best. 
          
          I am so grateful for the fans of this book, especially the ones who made it all the way to the most recently published chapter. If you guys don’t have a reread left in you, I completely understand. I plan on rereleasing a chapter twice a week—maybe three times a week—to get caught up. When I do, I will put any major plot points that have changed in the description of the most recent chapter for anyone who doesn’t want to read the new version. 
          
          Overall, the heart and themes of A2A will stay the same but with more consistency and complexity. As well as better-developed plot points. As I wasn’t drafting until late season two. So a lot of the plots were thought up on a whim. 
          
          Thank you all so much! I think this will help me out of my writing slump, and to any new and returning readers. I hope you enjoy the new version of Ashes to Ashes: The Walking Dead!

ASHES TO ASHES FANS, 
          
          I promise the new chapter of Ashes to Ashes will be out this week! I know it’s been a while since I last updated, but I’ve had a chaotic few weeks, and I haven’t had much time to sit down and write/edit the chapter to my liking. Season three has given me a bit of writer’s block (the season has always been a little boring to me). And with things in my personal life, it’s made writing harder. 
          
          I am NOT abandoning the fic! Ashes to Ashes is close to my heart, and I have no intention of just abandoning it, but when I get busy in my life I have to push writing to the side a bit. However, it will be updated by this weekend.
