Does having "zero ties" to HP mean I can't include Horcruxes, Grindelwald or anything to do with the dark arts?  

I need people's honest opinions right about now, because I'm feeling a bit disheartened about this book I'm planning. How would you feel about reading a book about a girl who, after seeing the aftermath of Lord Voldemort's second wizarding war, travels back to Hogwarts in 1942, while Tom Riddle and his Knights of Walpurgis are in their fourth year. From here, under the supervision of Professor Albus Dumbledore, the heroine sets out to prevent the wizarding wars and the rise of Voldemort by trying to kill him. The only reason Albus Dumbledore chooses this girl is because of her skill set... 
          
          And OBVIOUSLY, I can't reveal anymore because then that destroys the whole plot but still, how would you feel? Like, any comments or opinions of how the story should go.. etc.
