Outcast

Happy New Year! 
          
          I am currently writing a fanfic that I’ll be posting on here after I get in a few chapters. It’s a light-hearted fic… well, there will still be angst, and dark themes, but it’s not a dark romance. The romance itself is wholesome when it isn’t tragic. Updates will probably be slow as always though because of my busy life. 
          
          I have not given up on my old works. I will still continue Heart of Gold and Being a Noble Is Harder Than It Seems whenever I get the chance. I also have a few fics that I have already started on AO3 that I plan on transferring over to here at some point after a few rewrites, since I know some people prefer to read on here instead of AO3. But all my focus and motivation are currently going into my new works. It’s my New Year’s resolution to write more… and I know I always make it my resolution every year, but I’m hoping this is the year it finally happens, especially since I graduate in the summer and will finally be rid of one major obstacle.   
          
          I already mentioned this a few times before, but this is just a reminder that I have dropped To Forever Love Him indefinitely, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever pick it up again. If I do, I’ll be heavily rewriting it to fit my current writing style and approach more. I’m sorry for those who enjoyed the story, but I hope my new stories will be just as good or even better for you.
          

I know I haven’t been active. Again. School has been keeping me real busy (as always). And I probably will have even LESS time to be active January-March because I will be taking five classes instead of four next quarter (as it is the only way I’ll be able to graduate on time in June, since I can’t afford to be an “extended senior”). Pray for me, y’all. QAQ 
          
          That said, I plan on writing some fanfics during this winter break as soon as I can. I’ll mainly be posting them on AO3 but I’ll probably also post them on here for anyone who wants to read them. 
          
          I’m also planning on creating more social media platforms and being active on those, since I want to start getting my work out there and widening my readership. I’m slightly jealous of all the creators out there with their thousands of followers on social media because of the great content they put out there and then there’s me who still hasn’t done anything yet so I plan on fixing that as soon as I can come up with a good username. I don’t want it to be close to my real name or usual usernames because I don’t want anyone in real life knowing what I write or read just yet. Maybe one day. But for now I want to keep it separate. 
          
          I’ve been making more films this year because of all the production classes I’m doing for my major (finally), so I’m going to try to make a platform for those as well, probably under my real name, that I may show to you all someday soon. I plan to make more films to potentially start sending out to festivals and such, because I need to start thinking about what to do with my degree and education after I graduate *internally anxious screaming in adult*.

Hiiiiii, just checking in. I’m still alive (as always). 
          
          I’ve been super busy with work and film projects for school and everything else. QAQ 
          
          I’ve been writing some fanfiction lately, so I’ll probably just be posting that for a while. 
          
          I still want to write Being a Noble Is Harder Than It Seems (really need to work on that title), but I’m honestly not sure when I will finish that. I don’t have much of an outline for it yet except for the very basics of what I want to happen in the story with the couple, and most of my motivation right now has been towards fanfics of fandoms I’m currently hyperfixating on. You may or may not see me publishing those soon, whenever I get a chance. 
          
          I do want to write more original works, but I realize that takes a lot more time and energy that I just don’t have right now. But hopefully once I graduate I’ll finally get to that. Unless I decide to get my Master’s Degree. Which I’ve been seriously considering. Nothing is set in stone yet though.

Hello! School starts up for me again September 7. This will be last year, and hopefully by June I will be graduating and finally have my degree. I’m aiming for a BFA in film and television… I’ve seriously been debating switching to creative writing (which is currently just my minor) or a foreign language (because I am thinking of going into translating and localizing as my back up) but it’s way too late for that now lol. 
          
          I may be even more busy and burned out than I have before, so it’s possible I may go another year of not publishing anything. Hopefully once this is all over I will at least have more time to write and can finally get over my school burn out. 
          
          Also I know I should be writing the main two stories I’ve been meaning to write, Being a Noble Is Harder Than It Seems and The Memoirs of a Mafia Boss, but I just finished this one story on an otome game I play and now I have a massive hangover from it and an unrelenting brain rot of the characters. I’ve been writing more than I ever had in years because of this lol. I just can’t stop writing drabbles and chapters to ease my irreplaceable and unfillable post-depression void. Sooooo… expect me to probably be releasing a fanfic of that as well soon. The ideas just keep coming and won’t stop. XD 
          
          I’ll probably be posting small pieces of my progress on here later, as well as on Tumblr (follow me if you haven’t already!) until I do enough to publish on here. As I’ve said, I AM still writing, just not writing enough to really publish anything yet. I’m glad to show you what I’ve been writing so far until I write enough for an actual chapter that I can publish though. ^^

Sorry I haven’t written anything yet, I’ve had time but I’ve been so busy stressing out over important things I have to handle before I go back to school that I have just been too burnt out to do much of anything. 
          
          I really, really want to write but nothing just seems to be in my favor these years. QAQ 
          
          All I’ve written so far is a bit of chapter one for Being a Noble Is Harder Than It Seems as I flesh out some things about my characters.

          I would post character information here as well, but the wall has a character limit and I don’t want to hog my Wattpad account with “non-writing” if that makes sense. Which is why I wanted to make social media, so I can have a more organized place to store all this on.

          Next on my agenda is making an Instagram, but that might have to wait for me to come up with a proper pen name first. I’ll be sure to let you know once I make one though and send a link! 

Alright! I have created a Tumblr account! 
          
          Right now I am using my usual username and real name on the account. I plan on changing that as soon I come up with a pen name but since I haven’t decided on one yet this is what I will continue using for now. Hopefully I don’t attract any unwanted irls lol.

          The account is pretty bare right now since I just made it but I plan on filling it up more later, of course. I’ll also be making an Insta, Facebook Group, Discord, etc once I come up with a pen name. So keep an eye out for those when I do! I’ll be letting you all know here as well. 
          
          

Yayyyy I think I finally came up with an outline for The Memoirs of a Mafia Boss (my Gotham Memoirs fanfic) that I’m satisfied with, so hopefully my slump goes away and I can make progress with that fic. I was struggling with how I wanted some of the chapters to go down. 
          
          Hopefully I can also make an outline that I’m satisfied with for Being a Noble so I can finally write chapter one. 
          
          I DO still plan on writing Heart of Gold (my Midas from Fortnite fanfic), as well as the other fics I have been planning, but I think I’m going to put those on the back burner for now and just focus on the two first. They are the ones currently on my mind the most and I want to start writing original stories for when I begin looking into furthering my writing career and publishing.  

On the subject of creating social media accounts, I just thought of Tumblr. I know many people use Tumblr for fanfics and such, I feel like it’ll be another good account to have for blogging and showing off my WIPs to you all for reading. 
          
          Instagram was definitely a popular suggestion so I’ll definitely be making an Insta for everyone to follow. 
          
          I’ll probably be making a Discord, Facebook group, and TikTok as well since those were mentioned but I think I’ll start with a Tumblr account and Insta account first. 
          
          I think I’ll try making these accounts sometime this week. I’ll be posting the accounts on my wall and bio when I do so pay attention to that if you want to follow!
