Boggs and Japp both turned on spot, their black-brown and murky ochre coloured eyes gazing directly at Ducktective, and his fellow, Tofu.
“What yer doin’?!” Screeches Boggs at Ducktective.
Japp runs.
“I’m goin’ back ter Boss!” He yips, pushing Tofu out of the way and zig-zagging down the corridor.
“You idiodic dogs.” Mutters Tina under her breath, tying Annie to Boggs massive back. Annie was about as big as Boggs, so it didn’t bother him nearly as much as Tina’s comment.
“Hey tha’s really offensive.” He whines.
“It was meant to be.” growls Tina, scampering away.
Ducktective dives at her but she dodges and disappears into an air vent. He can see Japp lunging towards an elevator. Ducktective thinks of running after him, but thinks better of exposing his backside to the monstrous Boggs.
