now, i know people are upset by the riots and the acab movement (i’ve addressed this one in another discussion post). so heres the truth.

why are white people allowed to riot over meaningless things (ex. winning/losing a football game) and have no consequences. but when people riot over an actual issue addressing the racism of this country, it is ‘too far’ and ‘hurting this country’. why do those people who rioted with guns over the virus deserve our respect and received no consequence for their blatant threat of having guns. but when the blm protestors are peaceful, they get rubber bullets and teargas.

i understand the hurt of seeing buildings burn down and get looted. however, the police started this violence. the undercover cops and the professional agitators, along with people who want to steal under the guise of this movement are the ones who are causing actual harm. the undercover cops are the ones who burnt down many buildings including the homes of the underprivileged.

but especially, no protest that has gotten us our rights, was peaceful. (ex. stonewall and even the boston tea party) the boston tea party wasted about a million dollars and it is seen as this first stance of our liberty.

so overall, it is not about what hurts you as someone who is privileged to walk around safely. its about the human rights that are denied to the black community.

i have almost 200 followers on this platform, and i have avoided announcing this directly because i was afraid of bringing this to the light. and honestly, that was wrong of me to do, because it is not about how comfortable i am with this movement. because it scares almost everyone i know.

if you are ignoring the expanding issue that is this movement, then you are directly being complicit with this government by staying silent. you are choosing to stay silent on the blatant racism and violence that is being shown to the black community.

now, im seeing some ACAB hate on this platform, and it is my duty as an ally of this movement to inform you of the true meaning of ACAB. not only are cops swearing into a job where they are enforcing rules that are already misguided, they are swearing into a job where they are complicit with the horrible things that are happening.
ACAB means that ‘all cops are bastards’. this comes from the word ‘bastardised’ meaning to corrupt or debase. cops are corrupted in two different ways, by their place of power and by the very laws they enforce. we are not saying that cops are bad, im sure many of them are also upset at the state of this nation, but all cops are directly corrupt because of the job they’ve sworn into.

@thatsnotall because i do agree there are plenty of cops who’s actions disgust me, like the ones mistreating people because of their skin color

@thatsnotall right, i agree with the system being corrupt. i meant that the some cops as people aren’t the problem but more the rules they are asked to follow if that makes sense
