Read this to understand my portrayal on Columbina.  Adding onto what I said there, I also like to believe she was a fallen angel from Celestia, cursed to be a banshee for the rest of eternity.  Her eyes were her most beautiful feature, and when she was cursed— she could no longer see the world around her without causing harm.  Little did they know, Columbina used this to her advantage.
