The scene where she is standing in the kitchen making Fernando’s favorite crispy pork belly, waiting almost blissfully for her grandson to come home, and then receives the news that he has been detained is so unsettling. And her response, “So… my grandson will be home late tonight?” made my blood run cold. She does not even seem capable of imagining a world where Fernando might actually face consequences

          Chapter 5 already feels like the moment the entire story quietly changes direction. Taemin’s arrival brings such a different energy into the world of Leon and Alejandro, and yet there is something strangely inevitable about it. I love how his character seems to carry an entirely different kind of loneliness beneath all that elegance and privilege. There’s a feeling here that these three lives are about to become entangled in ways none of them can possibly understand yet. Absolutely loving the atmosphere and the slow-burn tension. I’m so curious to see where this is going. ❤️
