Ok so why are boys so confusing like-
This weekend, I had a swim meet, right? And this boy who swims for another club but is on my high school team never really talks to me, but at the meet, he comes up to me not once, but TWICE (and then I approached him once) so we talked three whole times.
And this is just so confusing bc he NEVER talks to me at school or even when we were at states, so like why is he coming up to me now?? He’s a junior (I’m a freshman) so maybe he just doesn’t want to interact with underclassmen at school, but that still doesn’t explain why we never interacted at meets either.
To make it worse, he’s actually kinda cute (but again he’s two years older than me and is going to be an adult next school year and we literally don’t know each other so that kind of thing would never work…)
If anyone knows anything about dealing with this type of situation pls help T-T
For context, we just had normal conversations (“what events are you swimming?” “How did you do?” etc) but he approached me once, I responded, and then we went about our days. Then while I was talking to my friend a bit later, he came up to me again and asked another question. We talked for a little bit more (about my events and such) then we both split up again. Finally, after my last event, I called out to him when he passed and asked him about his event that he’d just finished.
Then we didn’t see each other again lmao
