Hey everyone, long time no see but it's the one year anniversary of the document we published last march and i just want to reiterate how grateful we all are for the support and kindness we've received but to also remind everyone that the fight for inclusivity and community never ends and we must all continue to condemn bullies and to uplift and support each other. stay safe and look after yourselves and those around you <3

hi everyone! its sam (@togrutas) here, and I just wanted to clear some things up!!
          
          we are so so so grateful for the overwhelming support we've gotten in light of the documents release and we cannot thank you enough for listening to and believing us ❤
          
          additionally, several of the people outlined in the document have come forward with apologies and even though we find some of them to be less than satisfactory, it should be cleared up that those involved who were more bystanders than anything else (like @silksenses and @shangchis and @remuslupout) should be afforded leniency and forgiveness. they deserve to say their piece as well.
          
          id like to remind everyone that the goal of this document was awareness and reform, I never wanted anyone to be canceled over this -- all we ever wanted was accountability and for this place to become more positive!
          
          so that said, please consider the apologies being given out with an critical yet open perspective, because what we want at the end of the day is for this community to improve for all of us ❤

hi everyone. this account values star wars wattpad as a safe space for all fans—readers and creators alike—and in regard to this, there’s a pressing issue that needs to be discussed, and has needed to be discussed for some time.
          
          it’s the toxicity of star wars wattpad, and those who are directly contributing to said toxicity.
          
          there are various users on this site, particularly ones with large followings, that use their influence and popularity to get away with the mistreatment of fellow authors. ranging from gatekeeping to blatant racism, these accounts are actively complicit in the toxicity that has consumed star wars wattpad, and despite MULTIPLE attempts to help these users—to offer help, support and solutions—they continue to behave in such a way that has caused users to literally leave the site.
          
          wattpad should be a safe space. with this in mind, here is a callout document detailing the actions of these users. this is NOT a call to cancel; this is a call to hold these people accountable, so that wattpad can return to the positive environment it once was.
          
          the document is long, but thorough: every word is important. so please, if you’ve noticed how wattpad has changed, or if at the very least you’re curious, please take a read.
