@PeaceDes Now, as I am heading to write my dissertation for my Master's Degree I've been more involved with Non-traditional Security.
            Unfortunately, all the papers and essay I wrote for my undergraduate degree was in Portuguese, because I graduated from a Brazilian university. My current research is based in English and I am writing in English as well but I am still in the research stage, reading a lot, writing short essays, discussing the subject, etc. I don't have anything mine done yet, in English. But I can help to direct you to interesting articles and books on the subject. We can also share views and insights on the topic if you want I can send you my e-mail address.

            Yes, novels and television shows help me in one part of my research. I am a BL fan for quite some time, although at the time I didn't use the term "BL fan" because since I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community I just liked to read and watch LGBTQ+ stories. Through my readings and watching BL dramas and Lakorns, I came to realize how common rape romanticized plots are in Thailand. That led me to read a lot of articles on the subject of "rape culture" in Thailand and other countries.
            The question of how novels can help me with my research have a link to the hypothesis I am trying to prove and understand through my studies: How these kinds of plots help disseminate rape culture, rape romanticization/fetishism, victim-blaming, and at the same time lowering the gravity of the crime.
            The research is for my post-grad studies.
            The studies focus mainly on rape culture, it's a case study so yes I will be comparing three different countries. Inside the study topics such as gender violence on sexual orientation and self-identification, women violence, child abuse, and many others it's addressed. 
            I don't live in Thailand. I've lived in China for 3 years thou.
            I choose Thailand as one of the counties because of my whole study life has been focusing on Asian studies. In my undergraduate studies, I was involved in research groups on Human Security, Traditional Security, Human Rights, Gender Studies, Feminism, etc. All of it around East and Southeast Asia mainly, but also other regions.
            My undergraduate final essay was on Traditional Security and Grand Strategy in China, for many reasons I chose this subject, although I wanted to write about Non-traditional Security first. I am glad I also had the opportunity to write small papers on those other subjects through my research groups.
